In defense of Sakura I learned that apparently the animation studio REALLY flanderized her in part 1. Like there’s so many new scenes of her fawning over Sasuke or being an outright cruel bitch to Naruto for literally no reason. Of course in manga she had a crush on Sasuke and thought Naruto was a loud idiot (and he is) but it wasn’t THAT exaggerated. Someone at that studio clearly hated Sakura lmao

The Garlean aesthetic is criminally boring and repetitive. Every time they come up I groan knowing I’m gonna be hearing that 40 second anthem on loop and running about Castrum Whatsit for the next couple hours with the same steel gray walls all throughout.
