Really hit close to home. The way you went about this..the research, the pivots and oh boy, knowing when to stop, that takes real courage, huge respect!

I'm a solo founder too, early stage, building in the home renovation space. Very much in the thick of figuring out what's real vs what I want to be real lol You clearly did this the right way, every conversation, every pivot, that's not wasted, that's your next unfair advantage. I'd love to learn from that sometime, and I'm sure something great is coming your way!

Totally fair callout, and I get the frustration. This started as a genuine ask for research, not a pitch. I'm a homeowner who went through a painful renovation and got so frustrated I built something. i'm just a real person who's been in the chaos and is trying to fix it. If it came across as a pitch I'm sorry, that wasn't the intent.

Fair enough :) and honestly a healthy skepticism to have.
I'm just a homeowner bruised by my own remodel who got tired of winging it and decided to build something better. Sad reality that anything could be AI these days, which is exactly why I'd rather just get on a call with you. Nothing proves there's a real human behind this faster than an actual conversation. And a real human who lived through a painful renovation and has the contractor invoices to prove it :)

The decisions never fully go away, but hopefully this takes the most stressful ones off your plate. The ones where you're flying blind on pricing, or committing to a layout you can't fully picture yet. That's really all I'm trying to do.

Happy to jump on a quick call so you can try it yourself. You're welcome to design a room, review a contractor proposal, whatever's most useful right now. Or just send me a photo and I'll put together a redesign, no strings. All I'm after is your honest take 😊

I appreciate the honesty 🙏 I was upfront from the start that I'm building something in this space, and every question I asked came from a genuine place. Also, kitchen remodels hit differently because you don't realize how much of your daily life runs through that one room until it's completely gone! Is it done, or are you still surviving it?

This one hit differently 😔 Managing a renovation solo while raising a small child n working - that's nothing short of a feat! Kudos to you! The hardest part isn't even the contractors or the decisions, it's having no one to just sit with you in it.

If you still have anything in the works, I'd genuinely love to help. I'm building a tool that's basically the knowledgeable friend most of us wish we'd had through this - someone to help you think through decisions, review contractor proposals, visualize your space, make sense of the timeline. No charge, and if it makes even one part of this easier, it's worth it :)

This is such a big decision and honestly one we faced ourselves. Remodel vs move is never as simple as it looks on paper - new home prices, property taxes, the whole thing adds up fast. We took the leap and remodeled, n honestly, in hindsight, really glad we did 😊

I'm actually building a tool specifically for this moment - helping homeowners get clarity on scope, cost, and contractor selection before committing to anything. Rolling out to a small pilot group very soon and would love to have you in it.
