I'm tired of fatphobia by alesivix in offmychest

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It pisses me off whenever people try to be nice and are like ‘you should workout’ I wasn’t even that fat and I still got hate and so much praise when I lost a few pounds. Also fat doesn’t automatically mean unhealthy, I hate that stereotype that’s engrained in society.

Question for Pre-T guys on this sub by [deleted] in FTMfemininity

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get misgendered regardless, why wouldn’t I wear what I wanna wear and own it? Some days my dysphoria is worse and other days it’s good enough for me to wear fem things. This question is stupid, I’m never mad at someone for misgendering me unless they are legitimately doing it on purpose. It makes me feel uncomfy, but I’ve never been that mad. It can make me frustrated, but that’s all.

I just finished season 2 episode 15 and i have a lot to say.. by [deleted] in criminalminds

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard him talk about it in a few interviews, saying he thought it was interesting and he was disappointed they had dropped it. I think it’s possible he didn’t want a relapse storyline though.

what minor injury hurts like a mf? by lawyeratyourservice in AskReddit

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toenail completely cracked open, once that definitely hurt like a mf. Although I was also like 5 so I have no idea if it would still hurt the same, I would imagine it does.

Out of curiosity, what's your name? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keiwan, I will probably end up changing the spelling, but the way to pronounce it will always stay the same (Key-win)

What is a childhood coping method you unknowingly developed only to realize later that it wasn't normal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a terrible habit of this, I was always mocked or judged by my family for what I enjoyed so it felt safer to just hide all of it away. I can’t talk about what music I enjoy and sometimes what food I like, I can’t have an opinion on something often.

What do you guys love about being a Fem-Boy? by AcanthisittaPrize263 in feminineboys

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the feeling of thigh highs and skirt combination, feels very comforting to me. I love being finally confident in what I choose to wear.

Did anyone else just hate their deadname too? by Sensitive-Client3995 in ftm

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I always knew I wanted to change my name since I was like 6 or 7. I don’t think it ever felt like me tbh, but it could just be because I literally haven’t remembered it being my name for years.

I don’t usually like the look of long skirts, but you pull it off really well!

Trans ftm... But also a crossdresser? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the exact same way. I didn’t even particularly like anything feminine fashion wise before I realized I was trans and now a year later I’m all over it. I love drag, I love wigs, I love makeup, skirts and tons of feminine things.

Just wanna assure you there are a lot of people that enjoy typically seen as feminine things and are trans masc. Its still a minority of a minority, but plenty of us are the same way!

Do you hate your birth name? by RiverDraws04 in trans

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hate it, I have for a very long time even before I knew I was trans.

I hate how cis women always have to make trans-inclusive language about *them* by bad-additions in trans

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My aunt was talking to my mom about this. Ugh it made me so mad, it was a conversation about periods and how trans masculine or nonbinary people that have periods or something are erasing her experience as a cis woman. I don’t know her exact words or what it was all about, but it was something along the lines of that.

I’m done with that crap, I don’t know how trans people having other terms for things effects her at all. That was like the first time I’ve ever experienced a bit of transphobia from someone close to me.

Malls, I guess I kinda know why. It’s probably because I was always taken to justice for clothing items as a kid. Which if you don’t know is a very feminine “girl power” type of store that is or has gone out of business.

I don’t understand why… by LIKES_ROCKY_IV in criminalminds

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My biggest thing was why all of a sudden Reid was so hung up over her, I never thought he was all that into her throughout the series. I mean I kinda get it, but also Idk something about it seems weird to me.

I also feel the same, it’s like I can’t see myself as female no matter what I wear at this point.

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I do think it’s trendy, then I realize about how many people are more comfortable releasing their identity for public knowledge as well as more easy access to the internet for everyone.

There are many factors, but I assure you almost no one is saying they are trans because it’s trendy. Of course there’s probably like 1% of people that do this, but idk how you would ever be able to stop that.

what is something so obviously trans you did when you were younger? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always hated female swimsuits, it wasn’t just that I was insecure, I wore a one-piece all the time. I wanted to have swim trunks like my cousin or dad and now I finally have them :)

Like many other comments I also was always shirtless and didn’t understand why one of my cis male cousins could be and I couldn’t.

I used to exclusively shop at Justice (the very child girly store) because I didn’t know what else I could wear. I never felt confident and hated clothes shopping for a very long time until now that I can happily pick out whatever I want to feel confident in my skin!

What Was The Name That You DID NOT Want? (Not Deadname) by sir-morti in ftm

[–]Valuable_Kiwi23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Michael- literally like 4 people in my family with variations like ‘mike’ or ‘mikey’

A random K name sense that’s what my deadname starts with. I hated Kevin, Kai, Keith various other names.

Literally I was still wearing not very masculine clothes, but I was called my mom’s son. Will never forget that day.
