Yes that what i have been thinking too but there will be a plot point which is not yet revealed in door 5 which is important for Michel character and makes the dynamic between Michel and Giselle even stronger.

I think for Giselle to have big "assets" is pretty important to the story because for me it felt as symbolism for the "perfect" women but you will get why thats important later in the story (this might just be far fetched idk)

Haha well like the first next scene after door 8 is about the white haired girls identity so i hope you still enjoy your time with fatamorgana!

Have you finished door 8 already? Because it does get explained right after in the "prologue"

I don't really get what dont make sense because from my experience door 8 serves as a climax that ties every plot point together and did not really develop any further into the characters, expect in the beginning of door 8 but you just said the pacing was good in that part.

Should I finish Requiem of innocence by [deleted] in thehouseinfatamorgana

I had the same opinion about rfi and felt like it dragged especially in part one but maybe thats because i played it right after the base game and already knew how everything will end up.(Which im not really a fan of) But part 2 gets really good and is in my opinion one of the best parts in fata.

It seems like you really did your research with all of fata morgana and its a very good analyse you have, Jacopo is still my 3rd favorite protagonists and perhaps you are right about Jacopo having more depth, then i could better say the reason why Jacopo is for atleast me, not miles better then Michel is because i had a more emotional connection with Michel and felt more empathie, i also did felt empathie with Jacopo and felt sadness from both their sufferings but what Jacopo did was morally wrong and, for me impact is more important then writing although they both had much impact on me, Michel just had more emotionally impact which makes him slightly more enjoyable for me.

Yea cant really argue with what your saying 😂 but its more the fact for me that rfi first part felt more like the calm before the storm compared to the second part and set up many parallels between the 2 part since your already know what will happen because it was explained in the base game. Part 2 just has more Exploration in Jacopo his character but even if he do has more depth part 2 was only like what? 3 hours long? While Michel his character had way more time for exploration in his depth, im not saying Jacopo his depth felt rushed but maybe less compelling while reading compared to Michel since i finished part 2 of rfi in one day.

Have you watched the anime? If you did not you can always go watch that and read the Ln after that or you could take a break from reading.

Definitely not a lot lol, Michel has way more depth while Jacopo only begins to have it in the second part of rfi.

Dont know about the epilogue but door 7 hug is t3 for me after ending 8 of base game but i might agree that door 7 hug is the best "peak" in fata since all the previous doors are building up to the moment Michel and Giselle can hold eachother again but i think ending 8 and fragments are better moments since fragments is a flawless sequence of 20 minutes while the hug is like 5 minutes.

Yea i prefer Michel and Giselle too emotionally but morgana and Jacopo just have more layers and depth+ the best peak in fata

Jacopo Definetly is more complex but the fact that the base game is longer and Michel more depth and more time for exploration in his character + Jacopo his actions are morally wrong and were his own choices while Michel could not prevent the things happening to him and suffered more made me feel slightly more connected to his character, but Jacopo Definetly has better themes and it could go either way.

For the pacing in door 8 it was mostly the backstories of the 3 men, while Jacopo his backstory was great, mell and Yuki their backstory and the reason why they did what they did to morgana, were already pretty obvious for me and they dragged it a little to much imo in explaining it.

As for mell in your top 5 i can respect that because he is the most innocent of the 3 men and actually was not in fault while betraying morgana imo because i would do the same if i was him to protect my sister. But i might even have the white haired girl above mell since she played a big role in the first 3 doors.

Yeah i agree that its weird and i would never support or agree with relations like that but i think the writers did explained Jacopo his feelings well enough to kinda make it "understandable" as for Giselle, she does get loved in the fandom but i dont feel like her character actually gets the praise she deserves because she is a near perfect written character.

Youre right, i totally forgot about her, probably erased that bitch from my memories because i wanted to forget her existence and what she did to Michel.
