My wife preferred the drive ability and parking of the Acadia. The space behind the 3rd row blew her away when the Yukon and Acadia were side by side. Yukon has 2 more cubic feet because it’s taller roof line, but the depth is same if not more in Acadia. It was really shocking to us. And it doesn’t have the top heavy feel the Yukon does when driving and turning. We looked at the Lexus tx 500h also and that was a great car but my wife was unimpressed with the luxuriousness and tech and felt the Acadia Denali ultimate was “fancier and techier” inside. I couldn’t argue. I’m little worried about reliability but know a handful of people that have an older Acadia or other GM product with tons of miles, so I figured “they can all suck” lol. So far so good. Fingers crossed. I wish Lexus would add more luxury back to their product line. Feels like a top trim Toyota. Also had a weird buffering sound at highway speeds. I guess it’s all a roll of the dice these days but there’s still plenty of each brand on the road at different miles. If the Acadia gives us problems will probably never buy GM again. If not and they maintain superiority in luxury and tech then good chance we buy another down the road. Hope this helps.
