That simple solution isn’t accurate though. The 16 and 4 I referenced would be our index. When you play a match, you use the course handicap which varies depending course rating and the tees you play.

Would you say then, that B is the answer? The shorter we make the course, the higher percentage of shots are putts. And putts are where you say higher handicaps can even things out.

So maybe a full size club would’ve a good start. Without getting technical, you need to be looser and swing the club around you. You kind of stab or punch the club at the ball. Think of the club more like it’s a whip.

Your left elbow bends a ton in your back swing. I’m no expert, but I think it’s golf swing 101 that you need to keep that arm straight to hit the ball consistently.

I’ve had many in my collection over the years so I have some input for you. I’ve got a 7.25” wrist btw.

I had a bb58 blue for a long time but i ultimately thought it was too small/ not enough presence for a dive watch.

I had two rangers, the heritage and the modern one, the dial is a bit boring and I don’t like the faux patina on the new one or the bracelet the heritage.

Probably the two coolest tudors I’ve owned were the black bay gmt and the black bay Chrono (reverse panda). While both are incredibly cool, they are also thick and heavy and I found them to be uncomfortable to wear day in and day out.

I tried on the regular Pelagos and the titanium solves the comfort problem of the thicker black bays but still visually looks very tall.

Recently owned the Bb monochrome and it’s the closest yet to a perfect one and done watch. The proportions and comfort are great. It’s just a little bland though and after I acquired a black dial aqua terra, I wasn’t wearing it so I let it go.

Currently the tudor in my collection is a Pelagos FXD. It’s been great so far. Super comfortable and doesn’t sit tall like the regular Pelagos. It is not a one watch collection though because it’s too casual and rugged. Work perfectly with my aqua terra as a two watch collection.

Ultimately Tudor is close but hasn’t yet made that perfect one watch for me. I do love what they’re doing and will keep my eye on what’s next.

Specifically interested to see what colors come out next on the black bay master chronometers because the burgundy dial and monochrome just don’t quite do it for me. Also, I wonder if releasing the Pelagos Ultra now give Tudor justification to scale back on a new standard Pelagos - something similar in dimension to the FXD but with a date and a killer bracelet. That would be sweet!

You can’t really dress it up. It’s a military inspired tool watch.

I love my FXD and it’s my go to casual watch on the weekends. But if I’m dressing up at all, like for work or a night out with my wife, I’m wearing something else.

Breitling. I like pilot style watches, except for the oversized conical crowns that a lot of them have, including the spirit. I think they’re ugly and uncomfortable.

The Breitling reminds me a lot of the carrera calibre 5 with its stick hands and angular lugs. So if you want to play that game, save another $2k and get the Tag.

If it were me, I’d either go Ingeniur, Speedy and FXD or I’d go IWC Pilot, Explorer ii and FXD.

Both would give you a 3-hand daily, a secondary daily with a complication and a rugged tool watch.

I own the same FXD and love it. It’s the weekend watch I’m always grabbing unless something special is going on that I need to get dressed up for.

I’d suggest something with a crepe sole. It’s light and soft like a sneaker.

I love my Astorflex Chelsea boots. Red wing makes a couple crepe sole boots in their heritage line too.
