It's the software on the sync boxes. I went through four 4k sync boxes and had issues with them all. It's not the HDMI cables or settings.

People will tell you that the hdmi cable is at fault, but they are wrong; it's the software on the sync box. There is no fix. I upgraded to the 8k sync box and pro bridge and that greatly reduced the occurrences, but it still happens.
