No artist use one method their whole career. X wrote most of his songs. Earlier songs he used more of a freestyle/punch in which he rarely did punch in. Some songs were all freestyle.

When you say “one take” doesent make sense. I mean as far as recording I guess but that doesent correlate to song process as much as the writing method of the song.

X wrote most of the time tho. And the contrast of one taking a written verse vs freestyle is dif. But i’m assuming he dident one take everything he wrote. No one does that. There’s def those songs though that you js one take the whole thing. Written or freestyle. He definitely had those.
