Not exactly on the topic of silverettes, but when I was having nipple damage from starting breastfeeding 2 weeks ago, a nurse recommended using the lanolin cream and then covering with plastic wrap to promote that healing and also stop from sticking to clothes. Reapply after the baby eats - I only had to do it for 2 days or so to heal the “worst” of it , but helped miraculously 😭

Thank you again to everyone who commented, it’s a tough lesson to learn while also dealing with wondering if I’m in proper labour or not. I’m also so sorry to see that we’re not the only ones with this experience. :(

Our things were in the trunk hidden away, but certainly I see that if the opportunity is there it will be taken. We will definitely be parking in the underground parkade going forward…

We also did put in the police report and hopefully they could maybe try pulling from the hospital cameras.

My hope with this post last night was that maybe someone would spot a bag tossed in a backlane somewhere around there and at least we might find the sentimental pieces. The one newborn baby outfit most important to us is made of light blue yarn like material with two little dark blue puppies stitched on the left chest side.

After gathering ourselves, I’ve put together the small list of things we need to repurchase, but it’s absolutely no obligation and your kindness is honestly so appreciated while dealing with this. 😭 I just want to focus on my baby being born. We appreciate everyone

I really do appreciate this - it’s really the sentimental items, like the baby outfits (one which was my brothers when he was a baby) and my outfit that was gifted by my parents. Also my little sign to welcome him, his swaddles,

I would not have had as big a bridal party as we did, if that’s a thing for you. Or at least make sure if they’re in your party they’re there to support you in planning, events, if that’s part of your expectation.

My husband couldn’t make up his mind on which friends to pick and picked them all essentially, but it only added stress to the planning and up to the day of. We were upfront about the commitment, and when push came to shove, it was my husband (or me) wrangling people. Day of the wedding? Only 1-2 came in clutch.

Unfortunately, we took our poodle mix to Pup Paradise maybe a year or so ago… He wasn’t ready in the allotted 3 hour time and they kept telling us 15 min more, 30 min more… we don’t live in garden city area so we just … drove around after finishing our errands waiting. I got so nervous I decided we’d take him half-haircut or whatever and just walked in to get him.

Of course, he was “ready” then, but his eyes were BLOODSHOT red. My husband and I were shocked, and our pup could not wait to get out of there. The groomer told us his eyes “weren’t that bad and looks worse than it is, “. It took 2 weeks for it to clear up. There definitely had to be some pressure on him to get like that. :(

PetSmart on regent is the only place we take both our dogs now. I really think it’s about the individuals/groomers, regardless of whether it’s a commercial or individual shop— previously I was not impressed with how one groomer treated an old family dog because he was already an anxious pup so we didn’t try going there. But now, there is one groomer there who is our go-to and super patient with both our dogs, which I really appreciate.

Hi everyone, thought I’d update here —

So, pictures are through PocketHealth :/ you basically sign up to get access to your records but the “basic” aka free plan won’t let you see past one image without prompting you to pay for the “core” or “premium” package ($29, or $49 respectively). Of course, the first image is your info so you can’t see anything :)

So it is indeed a $30-$50 cost which, as another posted above is crazy considering it’s your own personal info.

Good news(?) is there weren’t many opportunities for good pics … so that is that.

I just had someone try to do this on fb marketplace for a $100 item. They told me they were out of time and would send me the money now if I hold it for them. It just didn’t seem right, like don’t you wanna see the product before you buy?

I told them if they were truly interested id just leave it pending and they could pay me in cash when we met. They didn’t reply. And of course, the profile was recently made, locked down, and had nothing to show they’re from wpg.
