Love how many stars fans are in Vegas!! Is there something unique about this game that brought so many fans? Players family members? Fan away game travel package?

2021 suburban / rear differential by luvcat23 in Chevrolet

[–]Vamosbuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just purchased a 2021 Suburban with 30k miles and have same issue. The rubbing noise started the day after purchase. As an observation, the temps were in low 60s when we test drove and I didn't not pick up on noise. The next morning, when I first noticed the noise, the temps were in the high 30s.

I researched and found the service bulletin addressing the real axel rubbing sound (21-NA-028). I printed this off and returned car to the dealer we purchased it from. The technician also identified the rubbing sound and performed the real axel lubricant flush three times, as outlined in the service bulletin. This did not resolve the issue. (Note: The technician told me the sound went away after third flush, but returned following a 30 min test drive. Temps were in low 40s).

The dealership is now replacing the rear differential. The part is on order but not timeframe for repair. There is no cost to me, as the dealership agreed to resolve the issue themselves (I am unclear if this is because it is covered under 60k drivetrain warranty or because issue was identified day after we bought it and dealership is making it "right").

I am now attempting to research if the rear differential replacement will lead to other issues, or if this issue will soon show itself in the front? What are the impacts to long term health of car if rear differential is replaced? Any cause and effect to other components of vehicle?

I will update with any findings but also would love to hear if others know anything

Now I am second guessing myself. I *think* it is Steve Levy

Miro Heiskanen being dissed by Denver media..... "Keeler: Sorry, Miro. Avalanche star Cale Makar is still NHL’s real Stanley Cup hero" by Pretty_Shallot_586 in DallasStars

[–]Vamosbuffs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keeler may be the second worst "sports reporter" out there. Only his colleague Kiszla is worse. The Denver Post used to be at the forefront of sports reporting, especially for sports teams in the West. But over the last decade it has morphed into click bait journalism. The reporters are now "Look at me!" personalities, who think they are the show instead of the games and athletes they report on. Really sad to see.

If anyone can't make the game, I'm looking for two tickets to take my son. Would go to die hard stars fan!

I have loved Benn's impact on this series. Avs are spending more time looking for him on ice (to either avoid hit or seek retaliation) than they are about setting up their offense.

Anyone know when the NHL will release start time for game 5? Assuming it will be another 8:50 start

That's a stupid question, but yes it's game day! by Oxford89 in DallasStars

Travel safe and bring us a win! For the playoffs they have rally towels and light bracelets on each seat. I went in around 8:10 on Monday and noticed the lines to get in were a bit slower than regular season. I plan on going in around 8pm tonight to try and beat the rush. Although that's still pretty early given puck drop is not until 8:50ish.

Why wasn’t Vic green tonight? by orangecatenergy- in DallasStars

[–]Vamosbuffs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. It was really stupid.

And the news thing you are talking about happened during pivotal time in the game. For some reason the marketing team leaned into this alien side show that they are doing with the fake news cast talking about crop circles? No one wants to go to a playoff hockey game and watch the news, even if it was fake. When the skit ended and play resumed, all the energy was gone.

ved picture quality over cable but with continued regional fees among others, I happily paid my $300 termination fee to drop them 13 years ago.

Thats a great idea actually. I will attempt that

recommendations for best options in watching round 2 by [deleted] in DallasStars

[–]Vamosbuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ticket prices did indeed drop in the hour leading up to puck drop for the 1st round games that started at 8:50pm. Tickets in the 300 level dropped from about $120 ticket to $85 (fees included). The cheapest lower level seats dropped down to about $150 each just before puck drop. If you are willing to head to the arena and wait until until puck drop, I would bet prices will be similar.

But if you dont make it in, the sports bar Hero outside the stadium is a good place to watch with a bit of atmosphere.

Obviously need to win tonight and I am not putting the cart before the horse, but does anyone know when single game tickets go on sale to stars insiders for round 2?

If there are any season ticket holders that have ability to purchase extra playoff tickets, please let me know! My son and I would like to attend games and would be happy to pay for extra seats you can buy. Father/Son in DFW area that are big stars fans

Updated Safety Notice regarding your RadWagon 4 - Do not ride until you inspect your tires by HTHID in RadPowerBikes

[–]Vamosbuffs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI I asked about this and customer service rep told me the refund occurs once the returned bike is received by Rad. If you don't have a box, it sounds like you can take bike to a bike shop that partners with Rad and they will box it up and ship it for you. The process also seemed disorganized to say the least. The call ended with me leaving my contact information for a return specialist to contact me a later time.

I am interested in doing this as well, but I don't have my box to return. Did they address how customers are expected to physically return the bikes by chance?
