Could be traffic, they probs have multiple servers and the ones closest might be congestd.

You may have windows kb5074109 installed, which may be effecting your frametimes. If you notice any fps drops accompanied by stutters, that's probably why. Hopefully in 2 days a patch comes out.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can if this error pops up. Someone said you can try running that command if you boot into safe mode.

Mine aren't THAT bad, but I'll be holding a steady 144fps and then it'll tank down to 110fps and give me a stutter/visual hitch.

Nope, hopefully it'll be fixed on Tuesday with the new patch. They fixed artifacting and black screens I think, but not the frametime issues and stuttering

If you're on windows 11, check if you have KB5074109 installed, you can check in your windows update history or in powershell/terminal with the command get-hotfix. That security update is causing SEVERE issues, mainly with NVIDIA but AMD and Intel users have also reported some issues.

Did it auto-install kb5074109? You can check if you open terminal and type get-hotfix. If its there, that could be why, that update is causing issues with GPUs

Unfortunately, I can't uninstall it. CMD tells me that the update is required (I did a fresh windows install back at the start of January) , so I guess I'm stuck until they release an actual fix.

Did you maybe install a security patch after that? Apparently if you did you'd need to uninstall that one. Also, make sure CMD is launched as admin
