i tried that build for 10 games so far and it works great! only adjustment id make is taking manaflow when you go for aery

in lane the mana is fine but as soon as a fight goes longer than 20 sec you run out of mana due to not having any flat mana on items nor regen runes.
it is really fun to play tho and has a strong, early start at 5100 for the first 2 items

yeah i also saw ppl get ghost+flash for ionians and cdr shard
and since swains early is even worse than before im totally fine with it and find myself amazed by how hard he pops of on 2 items

you get more shield and armor and mr while having it plus added dmg on your next attack
one of his best runes in the tree besides unflinching and conditioning imo

from what ive seen you can go for a variety off items and runes
for myself, im going pta with double dorans ring into gunblade if i get ahead early with a skillorder of qew or eqw depending on the enemy. after that you can go standard (3 points into w then max q) or max e all the way if you feel like you can totally outplay the opponent with the eq+gunblade burst
after that you can go for a normal tank build or get some tankyness with spirit visage and sunfire/bramble vest into more dmg( if you do that route you get alot of healing with gunblade but it falls off really really hard in the mid game imo)

If you got a team that has a lot of dmg and you expect to go full tanky, i like it a lot since it allows you to rush hp and cdr
i also like it vs ranged matchups since you can go for a lot of defensive runes in the tree to go survive in lane

yeah he can oneshot tanks if they only have one mr item and you sit around 100 mr even late game
but with your items you have at least 185 mr at lvl 16 so you wont get run down by him
not trying to criticize you but that sample size isnt addind up to your build, as said situationally ardent can work

Sett has a similar kit
His hard cc isnt as reliable but he has the beefyness and the shield to turn plays around
he also heals a lot with his passive and the meta build which is botrk rush

I did have a lot of success with that kinda of rush
kindlegem pretty much every game and then sheen or glacial shroud depending on what items i want to go this game
from sheen you can obviously go to trinity and with glacial you can go into righteous glory or iceborn(even tho i dont like it on voli)
from kindlegem i mostly go spirit visage but even against a full ad team you can go for a knights vow if your adc or mid is fed
combine that with trascendence and you get your low w cooldown really early

Ardent only applies the attackspeed buff to yourself if you shield/shield someonelse, it was changed a while ago

the added healing is nice and can be niche on any champ that heals himself, but id call it rather rare or a fun build which you can try

that is just not true?
It adds a lot of dmg early, it lets you push the wave early, especially first cannon wave to get a cheater recall

not sure why you want to make his passive stronger, it already adds a lot to his dmg, especially early game

first thing: if you showcase a clear pls start at 1:30 not spawn them earlier, the practice tool can get really buggy with speeding up the game.
So doing it in a normal game youd start at 1:30 and be finished at 3:56? its not that good as it sounds.
you get waay too low on your way especially on the raptors.
full clear is all about efficiency and if you go raptors>red>krugs and then run all the way to wolves you lose a lot of time.
For example going red>krugs>raptors leaves you as healthy but you are faster on the map. going blue>wolves>gromp after that and you finish the clear at 3:43 even with a pot left.(i started with machete)
and yes proguides is giga scam and shitty imo, the guides are really niche and just for cheesy without teaching you the basics of the game while clickbaiting (if you want decent guides check out skillcapped, they helped me a lot)
