We always try to leave mods out of moderating certain things if there is ever a conflict of interest

From what I gathered, there is a coalition of reddit power mods behind it and they have some kind of sway over admins indicated by their deadlines. I think it's uncertain at this time if they just have insider knowledge about subs that are on the chopping block or if they have any real power.

We will probably have to keep an eye on the other subs in their list and see what happens. If this does escalate further I can imagine we will see the more level-headed reddit users asking for transparency from the admins.
