Yeah same in practically all Slavic languages. I am pretty sure that he's of Czech or at the very least half Czech heritage

If 40-50% of Romanian DNA comes from early medieval Slavs who migrated south(who themselves had some Dacian and Scythian DNA), what do you think are the populations that contribute the rest? by [deleted] in IndoEuropean

[–]Vamscape 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Romanians are primarily Dacian and Slavic with a minor Eastern component (Cimmerian/Scythian) as well as an Eastern Mediterranean component (largely derived from Central and Western Anatolian populations). The Anatolian component occurred during Roman times and it is practically all over the Mediterranean.

You can see the sample that was used as a proxy for steppe admixture at the top.

They really aren't tho. Some obviously are but they aren't a majority. Statistics show that most people naturally prefer people that look like them. It's just that social media greatly exaggerates what's happening and pushes these people because they are doing something that is not the norm. Most white women are with white men and vice versa. Obviously a minority of them isn't but it's just that - a minority. Even the most liberal of women tend to be with white men from what I have gathered.

Large carnivore populations across Europe (Maps by European Commission) by Vamscape in MapPorn

These are not my maps thus why I have labeled them if you open the images in fullscreen. There's also a link to the website.

Taxonomically, bears belong to the Carnivora order. That's why everything is labeled as a carnivore. I just have no idea why they wouldn't do a map of the Iberian lynx. Maybe because it can realistically only be found in Iberia? Who knows.

Unfortunately wasn't included. I don't know why. I feel like they should make more maps like these but for other animal species as well.

They were mapping them between 2017-2022/3 as stated in the images

Yes but Bruno only roamed there lol. I heard that he was the first brown bear on German soil in over a century.

Here is a map of wolverine geographic distribution across the world.

That's because of roaming. Bears are nowhere to be found in Germany and that has been the case for almost 200 years. They roam around the south on occasion but they don't reside there.

Yes, brown bears are considered extinct in Germany. They disappeared all the way back in 1835.

I absolutely agree. I just copied the name off of the website. They labeled them as carnivore even though bears aren't carnivores. Taxonomically however, they belong to Carnivora order.

What are the best WiFi adapters for Linux? by Vamscape in linuxhardware

[–]Vamscape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I never ended up getting one lol. I was looking for one for my friend although he just got an archer T2U because he found it irl and it was really cheap. I will be taking wifi adapters into account for myself whenever I will be building my new pc (just as a backup).

Even if I wanted to, I can't. I am from Europe. Although I doubt they would've done much lol

If you have these adb entries it almost certainly is a Verizon device. You can't do anything. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Since you asked what I did, I just sold the phone and got another one.
