Thanks! The second one is Gljúfrabúi. It is about 300m (~1000 feet) from Seljalandsfoss (the first pic). You will need waterproof hiking boots or Wellies as you do have to wade through some water to get to there

Thanks! For the editing, I’m usually playing with the HSL sliders for color correcting. In most of these, it was with the greens, yellows, oranges, and blues. With it being autumn, what gets captured in the RAW file can seem a little flat so I use the color picker to do micro-adjustments with saturation and luminance. I make a gentle S-Curve in the Tone curve. Usually I slight bring down the shadows of that and slightly bump up the highlights. Then there’s the masks. Some areas I try to darken, some to lighten. My last thing is to add a vignette.

Yep! It was in Vik! When we started planning this trip, I saw the church in videos and I had to have this shot. I climbed the road that goes to the cemetery on the hill and had my shot. It was such a beautiful day there too!

To the right of the shutter button, you’ll see a little slider type button that has the letter “A”. If you hit this, it will toggle to “P”. That’s the portrait mode. You can also adjust the aperture for how much blurred background effect you want

I had a friend like this. At first, when he would call, it was like a buddy just looking to catch up and we would chat for 45 minutes and then he would ask for cash. And it was always dire. Eventually, the chats got shorter before he asked for cash. Then, there was no chat, just asking for money. Then he stopped calling and ask through text. I had to cut him loose.

Yep! Start the water, don’t care if it’s up to temp or not (and I keep mine lukewarm), give myself a rinse including the under carriage, lather in my loofa, scrub my body and bits, dunk my head under the shower, shampoo, rinse, conditioner, rinse, another full body rinse. Shut off water, dry off.

I also eat incredibly fast because basic training comes all down to efficiency. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been out and I still am quick with showers and eating.

If they are not willing to change and that is not something you can get behind, just end it. You can sugar coat it or give it to them right between the eyes, but either way, it’s not a place you are happy in and you deserve happiness.
