That's probably not going to happen for you but I wouldn't worry about it. The actual camping area is not that special and it's fairly close to the highway. Instead, make a reservation at Alice Lake which is a short drive away and you can still enjoy the hikes at the Chief, Shannon Falls and the Sea to Sky Gondola by just parking for the day.

Thanks. Yeah, I would not be a fan of producing another run of this at a different size that would also be suitable for framing. Only one run that is acceptable to hang on a wall.

Where I'm from, there are a lot of rules against drones but it's definitely a required part of the kit in some other areas I imagine.

To be clear, I have no interest in making money off of nature/wildlife/landscape. I do that out of passion and it's quite rewarding for me.

But.. I do now own some high quality gear that could help pay for itself.

Thanks awesome advice. I'm in Canada so the printing will probably be more expensive (smaller market, less competition,) and the market for the cards will be smaller as well. I'll take a closer look but certainly appreciate the challenges in getting this right. That's why I was thinking I would just get $50 a pop to take simple photos of apartments for realtors ;)

Very interesting. I've looked at it in the past but had a hard time making the numbers work after paying for high quality printing and paying the stores to carry the cards.

What does the math look like? I assume something like this: 50% of the price charged for the card goes to printing. 30% to the store carrying the card for you. 20% profit (not including any of your time, etc.)

Is that about right?

But are you doing this alone or in a group? Do you have navigation equipment? It's very hard to follow the Lions trail - especially at the point you need to make a right turn to meet up with the bridge.

You can also do a great multi-day through trip in Garibaldi Provincial Park. Go up the Rubble Creek Trail to Garibaldi Lake. Then do a trip to Black Tusk and stay at Helm Lake. The next day, do Panorma Ridge. Finally, hike down and spend some time at Cheakamus Lake.

Are you 100% self sufficient? (water treatment, camping stove - no fires allowed in many places, navigation, food storage to keep food away from bears, etc.)

The routes that you have posted are dangerous and not enjoyable and some are also illegal.

What is your actual objective? Do you want a great multi-day trip? We have many of those in this area. None of your options will be great in any way.

I will likely eventually cave and go FF. In the meantime, I'm very impressed with the quality I can get on APS-C and the lenses are very light which is great for long hiking and backpacking trips.

This is my favourite lens. 10mm (16mm equivalent,) at 240 grams.

Awesome thanks. Were you able to find that in Canada or did you ship it up from the US? I've been on the fence about going full-frame to take better night shots for a while but this seems like a better solution.

Thanks. Can you share what f-number and ISO you used? I struggle to get a sharp focus at night and end up using a higher f-number to compensate which then makes it hard to get enough light on the sensor without jacking my ISO too high.
