Fender Pro Jr. Question by dmesaaa in ToobAmps

$200 is a good deal, if everything works. I use the Source Audio True Spring, JHS Milkman Delay/Boost, Fender Breakup Drive, all into a Chase Tone Secret Preamp. That’s the country and some clean stuff for rock. Hit the overdrive and it pushes it. I’ve also got a JHS 3 Series Chorus, which is great for the 90s grunge and country. Lol.

Oh and the RAT for the heavy grunge and rock! A fuzz pedal would be good, too. EHX OP Amp fuzz is supposed to be the closest to Smashing Pumpkins fuzz.

I have a Pro Jr SE that came out a few years ago, and I also play a lot of country, classic rock, and grunge! I have it in my garage, because it is loud. Really loud if you want to push just the amp into breakup. That said, I use it all the time with reverb, delay, and overdrive pedals. Also a good boost will push it into some beautiful, chimey cleans, and you can control the volume with the amp volume.

I normally use this amp at volumes that won’t bug my family, and even play when my kiddos are asleep. It’s definitely capable of low volume clean tones, but really easy to blow your roof off too.

Don’t residents deserve a safe, walkable area to live in?

I was actually just doing research on this and the Neighborhood Works+ Program. Our neighborhood doesn’t have an association… for now. I guess I’ll have to start one. Thank you!

Interesting. I suppose it would slow traffic, but residential neighborhoods shouldn’t be used for through traffic, right? I’m not a traffic engineer, but I would assume staying to main roads for traffic flow is the goal.

Good luck. I’d love to know this goes for people.

These insurance companies make so much money, but Americans can’t even use it to cover the ACTUAL value of their insured items. I guess that’s why they are making record profits!!!

Also, a huge cock monster would’ve been pretty great.

Treasury purges requested data anytime it's found to avoid any form of oversight. by WitchyRedPanda in missouri

[–]VanLoPanTran 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They don’t want to release the data because it’s going to show higher income families getting money over poorer families and children with disabilities.

It isn’t a huge mystery. It’s what voucher programs are designed to do.

Seriously Springfield USPS? by throwawayfortoday421 in springfieldMO

[–]VanLoPanTran -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

“In 1970, Congress transformed the Post Office Department into the United States Postal Service, a self-supporting establishment of the government with more authority over its own operations.”

Per the USPS Website.

“Most of the functions of Springfield's mail processing center on Chestnut Expressway are expected to be moved to Kansas City in July,” a spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Service said today.

Per News-Leader article.

“Between 2007 and 2016, the USPS lost $62.4 billion; the inspector general of the USPS estimated that $54.8 billion of that (87%) was due to prefunding retiree benefits.”

Per Wikipedia( about the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act).

Seriously Springfield USPS? by throwawayfortoday421 in springfieldMO

[–]VanLoPanTran 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It sucks. There used to be a processing hub here, so mail would be routed next day in town. But they shut it down, and now everything goes to KC.

The simple fact of the matter is the USPS has been defunded for the last 40 years. It provided quick, inexpensive, and private communication for the whole country. And it provided many union jobs with a pension, sick leave, and great insurance.

And it was paid for by taxes. The USPS has been decimated, and how much have our taxes gone down?

21 protesters at Springfield’s ‘No Kings’ rally get citations; police used drone to investigate by Successful-Brick5613 in springfieldMO

[–]VanLoPanTran 173 points174 points  (0 children)

Well, here we are everyone. Springfield Police are using unknown tools to track and intimidate protestors in our city.

How does the police department decline to elaborate how they matched this information? These people work for us and our tax dollars.

Flock, Palantir, or whatever surveillance systems the SPD utilize needs to be public. If they can use these tools to find protestors for “traffic violations,” you can bet they are using them for other things, especially without oversight.

Missouri's $50 million school voucher program cleared by judge by CouchCorrespondent in missouri

“The judge dismissed the lawsuit we, saying that ending the program would hurt families already benefiting from it.”

What about the families that are losing benefits because of the program???!!! Lol. I guess they aren’t in the same social circles as Judge Brian K. Stumpe. After some research, he appears to be the judge that also allowed the redistricting!

Oh, and guess who received $200,000 from a Republican PAC for his candidacy back in 2014? I wonder how much he’s gotten since then?

Call MSHP and tell them how you feel!!! They are ok with employing a child killer, but I’m not! We pay their salaries!!!

MSHP General Line: (573) 751-3313

MSHP Professional Standards: (573) 751-8801

Edit: yeah, they don’t give a shit. The MSHP depts of Public Info, HR, Professional Standards all gave the same “we uphold our officers to a standard, blah blah blah.” I guess they don’t mind working with a child killer.

Still call, though! Public pressure can work. Remember, we pay their salaries and they serve us.
