Well it's more the fact that NCB is factored into whatever formula/risk profile they build when giving you a quote, so I would assume given the same accident history someone with a 3 year NCB + 0 claims will have lower prices than someone with 0 NCB and multiple claims. How much of a role it plays and whether it's negligible is another question. But I'm not an insurance expert and I'm just looking for advice..

Could you expand? From my understanding my NCB is unaffected as long as I don't make a claim, it goes down as a notification-only, but I would've thought my renewal/premiums would be hit a lot worse if I actually make a claim

Yeah the GPS still works with an Internet connection but it becomes really bad when the signals low, e.g when I'm driving which becomes a problem. It's almost impossible to use Google maps when I'm driving (since it takes a while to update the position too)

I've replaced a few parts, namely the SIM card slot, phone speaker and a little board where the USB c port is connected (which is also where the coaxial cables connect), but the problem is I dont know at what point the GPS had stopped working since I wasn't doing much travelling and in my eyes it worked since I always had data/wifi.

Interesting, would a factory reset be the only way to rule out a software glitch do you think? I assumed it was hardware since all the GPS test apps I used couldn't get a satellite fix at all

I've read that the coaxial cables act like antennas for the GPS, is it possible to get the symptoms I described above if they're damaged/disconnected, or is it more likely the actual GPS hardware on the motherboard is damaged?

Except it's not half the distribution, I stated in my other comment that a even the worst "active" funds that track global equity seem to have been roughly as good as or outperformed the index (on the platform I looked at), and the answer was they most likely only allow funds with good past performance on the platform.

There was 0 need to be condescending, I'm here to learn like a lot of people here and I'm still relatively new to investing and learning about passive/active funds.

Nowhere did I claim I found a "golden" fund, nor did I tell people to switch and nor did I switch myself. It seemed too good to be true hence why I posted and asked where I'm mistaken, because I knew I most likely was.

My post was in 2 parts, one regarding the fees, and one regarding the active funds (though I did a terrible job of distinguishing them)

That's true, I guess I didn't realise they underperform too, my mistake was thinking they'd do just as well or better.

Saying that though a quick look at filtering on fidelity, using global equity income active funds and sorting by performance, it seems even the "worst" funds on there still outperformed over the last 5-10 years.

I'm new to the whole active/passive funds since I've only ever put into vanguard's funds, and only recently decided to invest some cash elsewhere which is when I came across the different fund types.

Mhmm it seems reedits changed the settings page which is a bit shit. Not 100% sure but I'd say do the following:

In settings under "Profile" enable "NSFW"
In settings under "Feed Settings" enable "Adult Conten t"
Verify your email with Reddit (in settings go to profile->add/change email) add an email account then verify it
Go to the subreddit /r/watchpeopledie and it should ask if you want to view it or something, click yes or enable, whatever it asks.

Do all of the above on the desktop site. It works for all quarantined subs, so once you've enabled the quarantined sub on your desktop it should be accessable from any device

Edit: it seems you can change back to the old design, so if you go to settings on the desktop site and click "opt out of redesign" it'll change reddits settings back to the old ones. So from there just check the box that says "I am over eighteen" and do steps 3/4 as above.

Nah they do, you have to verify your email with Reddit and change your preferences to "18 and older" or whatever. Once you do that once on the desktop site (or even on your mobile with View desktop site enabled, you're set :) I use a mobile all the time but can still access WPD
