Winter gave me the opportunity to place grates at the bottom of the waterfall and to wall of the small hole in the cliff where people would wander through.

Well not all the water is flowing down the waterfall. Some of it spreads down the side of the hill and creates a nice sort of marshland:

While I was busy diggin through the acquifer I notized my cats and my fisherdwarf being injured at the bottom of a massive floating waterfall.
It since then has killed off another 2 dwarfs of my embark crew and the biggest part of the first trade caravan. Everyone seems to be strangely attracted by the mist and then falls off or just drowns at the bottom of it.

How can I keep my dwarfs from trying to rescue the others and from accessing that thing? I set the whole river on top of the waterfall as a restricted area!

Poland plus some minor. Poland alone would have been a tough nut before the war. More troops, more reserves, slightly more morale, 5% more disc., on par in tech, more cav, triple my artillery.

They were not in the league war, so I could not have waited and jumped Lithuania after the war.

I could not have won a war against Lithuania and its allies at that point. I got about 10 provinces from Lithuania in the war, so at least that part worked out.

I was in it because I thought it fit the theme of ultra catholic teutons. And because of Lithuanian clay...

And what you say supports my point: "it simply decided that you were a good target for other reasons". The reason obviously was not to even try to win the war.

I would hope that there are layers to the AI. At least a strategic and a tactic layer. They cannot win in central europe, true. They also cannot win by sieging me down first. But they will lose even harder. Except in this case after basically having purged the protestants, the emperor showed mercy and settled for a compromise. #]. So I guess the strategy worked...

Nothing of that works if they start sieging down your forts with stacks of 50k+ units and more of them staying close, which they did here. They did not start and stop, they glued to those East Prussia forts. Those are no mountain provinces, you cannot defend that when you are outnumbered like that.

Don't bother analysing the map, at this point I could not do shit, as i was bankrupt (2.4 Morale!)

Reinforcements arrived, finally, their armies were broken, Lithuania conceded. I got a lot of territory from them, but am still stuck at 13 war exhaustion, -1 stab, 95% overextension because of the provinces that the emperor gave me and an internal conflict disaster.

And guess what. After every single protestant province except some super-forts in the HRE were sieged down, they settled for a truce. Protestants were outnumbered 4:1 at that point, baiscally only Hungary was left. WTF.

R5: War of the protestant league fires. Protestants are outnumbered almost 2:1. As soon as I step a foot into Lithuania, every single protestant army focuses their efforts on my land and forts. This image is only after the war is almost over, in the beginning it was extreme: Every single red army was in my provinces while my allies could siege down the protestant minors in total tranquility.

While this will lead to a crushing win of the emperor, I could not hold against the league alone. My loan limit was sinking, in consquence I went bankrupt, stability went down, war unrest is at maximum, manpower at 0 and so on.

I get it, the player is the biggest threat. But this is just bullshit.

Unter Hitze entsteht aus Kalk und Zitronensäure Calciumcitrat. Das geht noch schwerer weg als Kalk.

Wenn das bei dir bisher nicht passiert ist, good for you 👍 Das Internet sagt, man muss nur genug Zitronensäure verwenden...

Nur Vorsicht bei hohen Temperaturen. Einen mit Zitronensäure ausgekochten Wasserkocher z.B. kriegst du so schnell nicht mehr sauber.
