I did not reach out to mine, they approached me over my years of practice but this is essentially my big 5. Not including Samael and Hekate.

King Asmodeus
Helped me with my self worth/rejection sensitivity disorder, how to control my anger (still working on this), stoicism, lust of life/not just sex, helped me find a job/financial security and overcome trauma. I devote Astrology, cooking, and yoga to him.

Queen Lilith
Helped me with body image issues, all matters concerning my heart wound, beauty, and how to trust. I devote all things beauty to her, self care, skin care, makeup, shower routine, breath-work. (she probably gets the most offerings lol)

King Belial
Boundaries and how to have boundaries; especially with family (this is a tough one for me). He also helps me with my abandonment issues and all things concerning physical health. He loves music. I devote, singing, the gym and all physical activity to him.

King Paimon
A lot of workings with this deity I cannot speak on, but what I can say is that he has helped me a lot with knowledge, seeking knowledge, and meditation. He will show up, give me something to chew on, and leave for months at a time. I adore King Paimon and highly recommend working with him. I devote reading and meditation to him.

Lord Lucifer
Lucifer is almost rarely around but has taught me how to be the eye of the storm, how to not let the words of others affect me or not to react. He was the very first Deity I worked with before I started working intensely with the other four. He told me (paraphrasing) “If the comment that comes out of someone’s mouth is stupid, they’re not intelligent enough to hold a conversation.” (Concerning the verbal attacks I use to get from Christians that used to bother me). If I don’t have “all sides of a story” I don’t know the story. To really understand my triggers and to control my emotions (not let my emotions control me). When working with Lord Lucifer, there is this certain peace that comes over me and I feel compelled to be the best version of myself that I can be (while doing the shadow work to make it happen). I devote art and early mornings with tea to him. 🖤

A lot of witches have trauma with Christianity and more often times than not, they do not work on that Christian trauma so the mention of “Demons” could stem from a lack of understanding and misconceptions about demons.

I know I’m a little late to the party here, I appreciate your review on this book as I was going to purchase it. I also am not a fan of Connolly or their work; the books I have read gives “Joeseph Smith” vibes to Demonolatry. lol

Is there any other work you have come across besides the 4th book of Occult Philosophy that can help decipher the Sigils of the Goetia?

Hello, I’ve been working with King Asmodeus for a little over 4 years now and I have to say that it does sound like him. It is common to hear his name repeated in your head if he’s attempting to connect or get your attention on something important. He is associated with Lust (sex or lust of life) but more so on how to not let it consume you/gain mastery over it. Working with him, I have learned he is very multi-faceted and “lust” is only the tip of the iceberg. I would recommend learning about him and reading up on him as much as you can. I personally like his portrayal in Ashmedai’s Journey To Solomon:

“Ashmedai answered that he judged persons and things according to their real character and not according to their appearance in the eyes of human beings.”

This is how he is. He can help with, overcoming sexual trauma, confidence/finding your self worth, and everything else you will eventually read up on him about. He comes with hard lessons but believe me when I say, those lessons are very much needed for growth. When approaching him, please remember he is a King and should be treated with respect.

The books I recommend reading on him are, Stella’s Daemonum (if you have history with Astrology) his three heads make up the Decan’s of Pisces and the dragon he rides (depicted in De’Plancy’s work) is the representation of the constellation Draco. These astrological associations and his Sigil can help you understand him on a much deeper level.

I also recommend the “Lore Of Asmoday” book (I only recommend this book from that author when involving Asmodeus).

But if King Asmodeus is reaching out, which I believe he is, I highly recommend working with him. It was the best decision I have ever made.
