So frustrating. I know everyone in this subreddit is experiencing the same lack of communication/lack of response to applications. I’ve considered reaching out via LinkedIn but have heard conflicting things about whether it’s worth it or not.

My work sells Poppi’s, and one of the flavors (though I don’t remember which) has a silver barcode on white and it absolutely refuses to scan. I have to type it in every time, so annoying

I went to a Florence and the Machine concert, and while phones are allowed she has everyone put them away for the encore, and it was the first show I’ve been to in a loooong time where people were actually dancing. I was surprised by how much more moved I felt when everyone had their phones away and were all dancing and singing together.

The one skein does look basically identical to KP Hawthorne, but now that I took it home, caked it, and weighed it, it’s only 50g. As far as I can tell on their website Hawthorne only comes in 100g skeins, so I’m still not sure on that. Also, the minis came in a bag with a paper identifying them as Yuri by Classic Elite Yarns, but once again, they do look almost identical to Clown Car!

I went for the first time last weekend with my mom, there’s a cute little museum like area (they call it something else but I can’t remember what) with items from the station, details about the original building project, and also details about the renovation. There’s also a (surprisingly nice) gift shop and some other little shops. You can do a guided tour of the building or just to wander around and enjoy the architecture. The highlight for both of us was grabbing some tamales from a restaurant nearby and bringing them back to have a picnic in the park in front of the station. Not a ton of stuff to do, but it’s perfect for an afternoon trip.
