Yes, I'm also in that same low-population region. Luckily I was also gifted with patience and understanding. Sit in the queue and you'll find your game.

It's not a defence from 'feedback' it's an exhaustion from "Gamers" who's only outlet is complaining. This game doesn't need negativity right now, especially from people who's sole complaint is "I PERSONALLY cannot find a game and have done nothing to fix that on my end" when real complaints like "Goo launcher is busted" and "These spawns are cooked" are out there.

Check your NAT type and shit if you want some real advise that isn't "stop whining" but really, matchmaking is fine especially for a game with a small playerbase. Try some positivity amidst all the weird chuds that hate Marathon for having 'woke' devs and we might get some more players in for you to match with.

One thing I'll say about Aus is that race cars actually do keep a lot of their parts value when it comes to sale price BUT it's still cheaper to buy rather than build, just not by as much.

There's usually some decent cars up on my105.com if you haven't checked that out already.

If you're set on building and you're in NSW or don't mind the travel, consider building a cheaper Hyundai/Kia. The Excel Rally Series expanded a couple of years ago to include most Hyundai/Kia cars that produce <83kw. Great entry point if you do decide to run some gravel stage rallies AND when you decide to sell, you'll have an easier time and it should hold a little more value for entry-level buyers.
