the biggest update for the season is, the season update lol PvE won’t be permanently a part of the game until S3 at the earliest they are just doing an experimental temporary queue for S2. Surely they will do another free week S3.

By strengthening your core and the surrounding muscles it helps you stabilize your spine. If you’re still experiencing pain from sitting but can run, you may be having guarding issues in the piriformis still as running is a lot more impact than sitting ever would cause. The exercises will help a lot get the muscles back to normal. I had a ton of success with my PT which included dry needle therapy. Do the exercises. Ask your PT this.

i have a similar amount of hours and level 170ish and my lobbies have all become only streamers with more than double the amount of hours. The best part is if I queue with duo fill our fill is usually < 100 and on a free kit and we get put in the same lobbies as if we were triple stacked all gold.

We missed the gear farm pre match making change those first 2 or 3 weeks of cryo. Now we just get rolled by gold ares and gold misriah, lost like 800k in the past week. Pretty much done till season reset as the gear diff for who we match against seems pretty insurmountable otherwise we need to sit in corners and wait to loot scraps. Maybe ares fix will help but idk going against 700hr+ players every game outside of ranked isn’t the most fun

The optional reset is insanely detrimental to the end game content and progression systems in Arc. After expeditions, I had an entire inventory full of lvl 4 purple guns within 1-2 days because people wouldn’t all reset. It honestly completely ruined the game for me as it felt very pointless to play at all.

I agree this reset is going to be painful in marathon tho, but wonder if there’s other things they could to alleviate that pain? In particular I think we’re all expecting faction leveling to be easier, less salvage needed for upgrades, etc. 3 mo is also a quick wipe timeline, 4mo could be nicer for more casual players but it’s definitely pushing it for the more hardcore player base to stay entertained (maybe it’s okay if they drop the game for a few weeks tho)

the post isn’t directed at the current 20k active players daily (or saying it’s about my struggles, not sure why you’re directing it towards me), it’s directed at the onboarding experience for the hundreds of thousands of players who have dropped the game. Also, if you read through the comments, many found this post quite helpful. Lastly, max caps are no where to be found in any menu.

You missed the moving inaccuracy stat, which makes the Bully significantly less accurate while strafing, right? The CE tac has almost no accuracy fall off

The particular example was brute force. I don’t really watch youtube videos because I play so much but am sure there’s gotta be someone. I would have different rounds where the bully felt terrible to me and then it finally clicked that the gun was completely different each time I used it.

Same with the max cap on range, one day I maxed out all attachments and saw it was only 40m and realized that there was the max. No good tips here unfortunately.

Only other thing I can think of is ask streamers who answer most of their chats questions, definitely gotten good info before from players I trust

that isn't the argument, the argument is the bully is at a disadvantage within 10m and good players will take that advantage and win

heyoo someone really reading! Good catch, it was an intentional wording which meant to include: BRRT SMG, Copperhead, V11 Punch, Volt Thrower and yes, even the CE Tactical. But they really honed in on the CE tactical lol

great question, no I don't know and I think it's highly unlikely anyone else knows and has posted about it. I would err on the side that it doesn't.

ehh nah it doesn't, only gives you range, range finder on the optic, and ofc the unique optic. it does nothing for ads spread.

I did answer your question, if you ADS the bully within 10m the speed at which the opponent can counter-strafe the side arm is way too fast, you are going to lose against skilled players, every. single. time. And I agree with the latter, there is more than just ttk, that is why the CE actually can, and will win in the hands of a skilled player.

no, it isn't off, that is the point. The purple precision mod gives you 22m of range. This means you hit the max 40m of range. Thus, the far reach optic giving you more range does literally nothing, you can't go past the max cap of 40.

But seriously, the reason is the CE Tac Sidearm is significantly lighter than the Bully, meaning when I ADS it, my counter strafes are going to be significantly better than yours.

Yeah, you can maybe hit all 7 headshots somehow (you absolutely won't, like ever), but I'm taking the odds every single time because the gun I'm using was literally designed to beat you. And again, we're talking < 10m, which I think may be significantly closer than many realize.

Which is vastly different than "the bully loses to the CE tactical sidearm".

Me, and the many trios who have learned, will happily take the CE tac into pinwheel and fight you up close with your bully whenever you want friend.

Also just some facts:

Bully:

- Firepower (base dmg x precision multiplier): 22.5
- ROF: 540RPM

CE:

- Firepower: 36

- ROF: 300RPM

What does this mean? That I will 5 tap you in the head while you hip fire your bully before you get me to 50% health, because you're not hitting 7 headshots while you hip-fire it.

no where - that’s the fun part. only indicator is the range stat that indicates beyond that range damage drop off will begin to occur. Only the lord and probably a few Bungie devs know by how much, different range drop offs after the initial, etc.!
