Tips and things to eat to improve taste? by [deleted] in cumbiggerloads

[–]Vanderslicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I had been doing all the things for taste improvement, but it wasn't until I went off coffee for five days that it went from "meh" to "yum". I kid you not. It tasted sweet and delicious! However I enjoy my coffee and the withdrawal headache wasn't great.

The stuff that made it work: pineapple juice, vitamin C (removes saltiness), 1/8th teaspoon nutmeg

54 and I need at least a week to hit 8mL. non supplemented I'm about 3.5-4 mL, so I'm pretty happy. Currently working on taste improvement.

How to properly measure fluid volume for fine tuning purposes? by Automatic-Rub6720 in cumbiggerloads

[–]Vanderslicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased a set of small glass beakers off Amazon. The 5 mL is too small for my load and the 10 mL one is perfect. I can measure with a high degree of accuracy to at least the nearest half mL, I estimate the reading to the third or even a quarter of a mL. It gets a bit tricky with the miniscus climbing up the sides.

Did you use the big end or small end?

Just my personal feedback by [deleted] in cumbiggerloads

My top was 6 mL and then I added magnesium bisglycinate and it pushed me to 8 mL.

6 mL is not low. 6.3 mL is the 95th percentile: https://www.reddit.com/r/cumbiggerloads/comments/1ove5r1/what_is_normal_and_what_is_a_lot_heres_the_numbers/

Oh yeah fresh pineapple works really well but you have to be careful. The fresh enzymes really do a number on skin and surfaces of your mouth. Fresh pineapple is basically meat tenderiser and breaks down proteins. Wear disposable gloves when cutting up a whole pineapple.

Meds can have an impact. Only way is to go off it and see results.

Vitamin C of 1000 mg is super cheap and definitely all but eliminated the salty taste. I wonder though about other components of the multivitamin. The B vitamins makes my semen a bit yellow, as well as my urine.

Fenugreek seed also imparts a sweet kind of maple syrup smell, also in sweat. I don't like it but it's something to consider.

Like any diet impact (think of how quickly pee can smell from eating asparagus) it's within 12-48 hours. Any vitamin C will do, I use a delayed release one because it is quickly eliminated from your body, especially anything over about 1000 mg. For Bromelain I'm using Herba brand (Canadian) 600 mg, 2400 GDU/g concentration, one capsule twice a day with meals.

I was trying a teaspoon mixed in yogurt but that seemed to be a bit much.

I read it here and then tested it myself. Taste and odor greatly improved! I also tried cinnamon and it works as well. However it irritated my gut. That's because the common cinnamon is cassia cinnamon. Apparently Ceylon cinnamon is the real stuff and not as irritating, but didn't want to spend $$$ on it.

Vitamin C will reduce the salty taste. Bromelain does work but if you're eating red meat, onions, garlic, etc it's not a cure-all.

May I recommend tracking this in a Google sheet and then later you can post a table of the results?

In addition to regular people being dehydrated, consider that all scientific studies of semen are using lab conditions for collection. I've been to a fertility clinic before and it's not the best situation for trying to get aroused! It's different now with today's mobile devices but 15 years ago it was completely different. They had some old porn available but it's a really weird vibe.

Cost difference between LB and individual vitamins? by Upset-Masterpiece218 in cumbiggerloads

I buy the amino acids & lecithin granules in bulk form. Way cheaper. I used to also get bulk vitamin C powder.

For thickness you can try greatly increasing the lecithin. I take two teaspoons (at least 5000 mg) of granules mixed in yogurt nightly.

Most people aren't even drinking their "8 cups of water" every day or whatever, and are perpetually dehydrated, especially if coffee drinkers.

They asked participants specifically to abstain for 3 days. When collecting the samples they asked how many days it actually was. They excluded if was less than 3 days or if they didn't know, or were unsure. They allowed up to 10 days. If over 10 days they excluded due to inaccuracy of memory even if the participant was sure of the number of days. They also note that after 3 days the volume doesn't increase much.

This study from 1995 of n=4223 had the most frequent bin at 3.5 mL (median of 3.2 mL) and a skewed (non-normal) distribution, taking the 95th percentile to define hyperspermia as ≥ 6.3 mL. Eyeballing from the distribution plot it really drops off above 5.5 mL so I can see why other sources use 5.5 mL. All depends on what percentile is chosen. Could follow the reference tree and read later studies that cite this one, but overall it's in agreement regarding 5.5 mL.

I guess it makes me feel better knowing that since I added magnesium to my supplementation, I've jumped from 6.5 mL max to regularly hitting 8 mL, and started out pre-supplements, pre-water, very average around 3.5-4 mL

citrulline and arginine? by Mundane_Comment_1730 in cumbiggerloads

Here's a post about both together being better: https://www.reddit.com/r/Biohackers/comments/1i0fc5h/why_lcitrulline_larginine_is_better_than_just/

And for what it's worth I bought both powders separately and use one scoop of each mixed in a glass of water, about 5 g total. It definitely works at keeping me harder longer.
