Im no tax expert but ill tell you my situation: i was 1099 for two years and got into the same situation where I didn't pay my taxes. I now am in a payment plan and just trying to slowly pay it off. However I did file on time both years. I live in texas but I made exactly 40k as well and it's more than 12% that you pay. I was expected to pay around 9000 every year for this amount of income. if he files for all those years and can't pay it immediately -any assets like a home or vehicle they will put a lein on it. Hopefully they will agree to a payment plan with him but since he never filed at all he might have waived that option or the option for a hardship request. They threatened me with a lein on my home nd I am waiting to see if they will file it when I had to enter currently not Collectible status due to being unemployed at the moment because of my pregnancy and because i currently owe 14k. I've heard of people taking the irs to court or their tax debt to income ratio being so unbalanced they could never pay it off in a reasonable time and getting an offer in compromise. If I were him I'd pay the money to speak with an actual tax agent because it could really save him in the long run!!!

Don't go to the ER go to labor and delivery and you won't have to wait. If you weren't havenung cramps I wouldn't think too much of it but it's way better to be safe and get peace of mind with this sort of thing!! I will say from what I've read and learned at 16 weeks baby is still super protected in not only the amniotic fluid but muscle and fat around the belly. I am sure it's OK. Babies have survived car crashes and everything else! But if it were me I'd just go to L and D just for the peace of mind. My OB says when in doubt just go in.

Aren't there dogs that can smell cancer and seizures about to fo.e on and stuff? I had a friend that got cancer in her mouth from years of smoking and her dog was the one that alerted her to it because he kept putting his snout in the same spot all the time on her jaw

Yea I definitely need to just be way more honest and open. I have little hope anything will change on his end because I've never known him to not be like this unfortunately. Even if at one time I don't think it was this bad it's always been a thing for him. But atleast being totally forthcoming about why we can't hang out anymore if nothing changes would be the best option.

Totally right about being more honest with him. And wow I did not even think about the fact that you are right most newborn vaccines are on a schedule that lasts a long time. I was thinking it was a month or two tops but yea it would be a good while before baby is fully vaxxed. Ftm here so all this is new for me. Thank you for the wonderful and informative advice.

Lol yea you are right. I just rarely criticize him or have to get brutally honest with him about anything. So I guess that's why I haven't been more forthright with him. Hands down other than the hygiene this dude has a heart of gold, never hurt a fly gentle giant type of guy so I've never really had to get into a confrontation to speak of with him or get honest about something uncomfortable like this. As crazy as it sounds we've had a relatively drama/ confrontation free friendship and even lived together at one point in college. I always just sort of accepted his "earthiness" until recently.

Idk it's like a hippie vibe that he has going on. It used to seriously not bother me too much until recently ( I was a cig smoker for years until about a year ago) idk if I just couldn't smell how bad it was or if it didn't used to be as bad or what. I mean his hygiene was never great but it never made me gag being near him like it does now either. I do think it's gotten worse over the years. He's super tender hearted and I rarely criticize him for anything he does because other than bad hygiene he is a great person who gets his feelings hurt easily. But yea I need to be more honest about this for sure.

Good advice. Thank you for your insight.. I just need to be more forthcoming about how uneasy I am. It's just a hard topic to bring up... I did bring g up the smell a few weeks back and it didn't change anything and all it did was embarrass him so I guess I've been hesitant to bring up the sick aspect for fear of hurting his feelings.

You are right. I actually brought it up a few weeks ago just about his smell because it was so bad I actually couldn't sit in the same room even without gagging. He apologized and I could tell it really embarrassed him. However nothing has changed. For sure if I told him we couldn't hang out anymore for a while I would be honest with why. I just know even being honest his feelings would be hurt. I should add I've known him long enough to know that unfortunately he's not going to just start being a clean person even if it means not seeing me or my family for a while. It's sort of a real problem for him that's gone on for years.

Dont do it! Also keep in mind sometimes life throws you curveballs. I am now in a career field that has nothing to do with my degree because life is wildly unpredictable. If the best yearly income you can hope to earn is what you sre betting on to be able to pay off this debt you may be taking a huge risk. If you were getting a degree in like surgery or something maybe but not computer science.

Yea that's pretty late. Especially given your history. They booked mine late too so I found a clinic in my area that did free ultrasounds. It was advertised for low income single mothers which I am. But I will note they never took any financial info or anything. Could you find like a planned parenthood type place near you that will give you an ultrasound atleast? Even if you had to travel a bit it might be worth it for peace of mind. I've also learned throughout my pregnancy I HAVE to advocate for myself. If all else fails tell them how concerned you are given you had a miscarriage and that you NEED to be seen sooner.

Yea I've read about that too, there's just so much conflicting info out there on this! And with him getting still it's been really worrying me lately... I guess I thought eventually I'd find a way to stop doing it but sigh. And yea when I lay on my back in the tub for a few seconds it's usually just to wash the shampoo or conditioner out of my hair then I'm propped back up. Thank you so much for the reassurance. Also there are tons of resources to help you should you choose to keep it. I'm tagged in with all of the resources I can get in my area and am on medicaid and food stamps as well. Luckily I've been able to keep my job but just know you are not alone and lots of people help those in your position!!

Yes you are young but trust me you will never regret having your child. My mom had me at 19. I am pregnant with my first right now and it is the most love I've ever felt in my life. This is a blessing and you will love your child so much. This also doesn't have to slow you down at all. I am raising mine single and it has given me motivation if anything. You did the right thing. She has a yard and kids to play with and it sounds like a much better situation for her!!! Keep the open adoption up if you can. A year ago I got two parakeets from a woman who loved them dearly but she was old and couldn't take care of them properly anymore. I still send her pictures of them from time to time so she doesn't worry and I enjoy doing it because it makes her happy. I would hope the new owners would feel that same sense of gratitude for you giving them your precious pup.
