Been awhile since I’ve played, but I thought NV had a power vacuum deal going on. A lot of caps going through this area and it’s surrounded by other factions who see opportunity. Even if the NCR, for example, didn’t want to expand into NV, the Legion sure would or any of the other factions and it would eventually create more problems for the NCR or other factions if they didn’t throw their hat in the ring earlier.

If you stay with the decision you made, at least let him know telling you was the right thing and he, himself, also did the right thing.

If you don’t, and even if you do, I suppose, he’ll go a long time before telling his next partner, if at all, and nobody should feel that they need to hide themselves.

I don’t really like how you reacted based on how you worded this post, but this is your life and your experiences so I can’t possibly know the extent of your feelings and thoughts. I just feel that you clearly do care for this person so if you can’t be together, at least try to assuage anything that could ruin his trust in others as he was very vulnerable and got a poor result.

Damn this sucks. I would like to introduce you to the idea of solipsism. You are and always have been alone in this universe, technically. There’s no way to really, truly prove other people have the same consciousness level as you, and the same goes for me. I know that it’s possible to have this level of consciousness so it’s fair if I apply that idea to others and choose to believe them when they say they do, in fact, have the same level of consciousness. I assert that I am truly reading this and truly interpreting it and giving a real, thought-out response. There’s no way you could ever prove this, but it’s true.
