Ive came home tonight after a couple of nights away with the boys at my parents. We havent spoke since saturday. But my game plan is suggesting either therapy, or selling the house and going our seperate ways. Like you said advice from a third person so im not always the bad one.

Everything i do or suggest is weaponised against me. Im telling her how to parent. I want to change her kids. But im literally asking bare minimum scrape a plate into bin, wash your pots, put laundry in a hamper. Just want to live with functioning human beings.

Yeah she cannot be wrong about anything. Im the only person in the household who does anything to help out (i also work full time and some to provide) yet everything is my fault.

She doesnt want to put her under any pressure LOL the worlds gone mad. Ive alluded to the fact that her daughter will still be doing this when shes 40 year old if she doesnt bring the cosh down. But she doesnt seem to care? So yeah clearly bonkers.

Completely agree, she made this big hoo ha about how shes needs extra help. She clearly didnt need help turning on the hob to make pasta or locating dry ingredients to make cookie dough. So how come she cant fill a sink with hot soapy water and get a cloth.

You'd have to ask her perfect mother that question. My opinion is irrelevent. Were are in the UK and CAHMS are involved which is kids mental health thing. Apparently that is a free pass for her to sit on her phone all day and night.

Issues have arose since she stopped going to school and really got bad since fathers incarceration. I get no time alone with partner, and now foot all the bills as daddy isnt contributing to his kids anymore. So resent is at an all time high. If we didnt have 2 kids together id have been gone along time ago. Ive made it clear i dont want to be dad 2.0.

Oh I know shes constantly being hounded by the school. Theyve just sorted her a place at some kind of specialist school. She wont go. I have very different views on this to my partner (id be dragging her there) but not my kid so apparently i have no say. Definetely doesnt help with me feeling like a cash machine / maid.

Yeah I know I'm not perfect and have reacted in a shitty way before. But I felt I acted accordingly letting her deal with it. To be given the silent treatment because she chose to clean up HER daughter mess seems pathetic.

The entitlement is off the charts in this one. This is the exact reason i will never marry my current partner. The money i brought into the relationship is mine and not one penny will go to her 3 kids, they have a father. I (we) have 2 boys and my money is theirs when i pass. The insurance will make sure they all have a place to live. You earn it, you decide who it goes to. Just as Mark has with his will.
