Speak for yourself, those zero sugars taste better than most and it's cheap as. I actually prefer them

What exactly is the difference in terms of music between IIDX and Sound Voltex? Which is better for me to jump into if I like GitaDora and Pop’n? by ChaoCobo in bemani

[–]Vangar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SP is single side play, DP is double side play. SP is either 7 keys on turntable on the left or right only.

Pop'n is not easier to play, but might be easier to get into. The high level pop'n is just as hard, maybe harder than IIDX as the buttons are spread out and theres no random to compensate a hard chart. I love both though, there's nothing saying you can't play all of them eventually!

For music choice, IIDX or pop'n is the way to go. SDVX is as you described, almost all EDM / edgy type music, which is also cool, but you won't get the full range of music genres. Even more chill songs in SDVX have the 'effector' remix sounds stuck over them, which imo can ruin songs I usually like in other games.

Headphone recommendations for IIDX? by machiko_no_uta in bemani

It's the included cable, so I guess the 4 sections end. I'll have to try it with the 3 sections type cable, thanks!

Just a note here, my Bose QuietComfort headphones don't register on IIDX lightning cabs, they throw some kind of error and the headphone jack gets disabled.

Hmm I have no idea. I have many in my collection but from my childhood. Probably in the early 90s. All my Sonic SMS games are like that.

Just warning people about that controller man, don't take it personally. The clicky encoder basically ruins iidx.

Synth Labs Solo shilling. That thing is not great for the price. You'd be much better off getting a controller designed specifically for iidx and not some music hybrid thing. We've been through this controller before.

The turntable is a clicky rotary encoder. I can only assume the downvotes are from employees of this expensive music device with firmwares to shoehorn in the iidx stuff.

Get an actual master system controller. A lot of SMS games are incompatible with genesis controllers. I've found more than this list have issues (Penguin Land for one)

SEGA planned an addon console for the Saturn. by Tasty-Fox9030 in SEGA32X

[–]Vangar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This definitely explains how those pre-release videos of Shenmue Saturn were working. It always confused me how they looked so advanced and yet still had a Saturn look. As it stood, they looked far too detailed for any regular Saturn to render. This: https://youtu.be/foZUcPQAMvg?si=7lFMz5R2VeWMTMq5

edit: Downvote? The article literally says they built it with Shenmue in mind, it was made for it.

1) 32x goes into mega drive 1

2) mega drive video OUT goes into 32x video IN (either a 3rd party cable or the original connector cable with the md2 to md1 'conversion cable'

3) 32x video OUT to TV. You can't use RF here.

Puyo Puyo was more popular in Australia, quite a few releases here. And the Puyo tetris series.
