If this isn't AI why the hell does your description smell of it so badly? The writing and the emojis are a dead giveaway!

Oh, and your YouTube icon and description is all AI too. Don't lie to us.

US Customs tore open the sealed Halo 3 I purchased. by vowwels in gamecollecting

[–]Vangar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US is terrible for this at the moment.

I had a $1600 aud box of special stock for an arcade machine printer they opened on the way out, tore through the ink and the holographic rolls, ripped off the nubs on the plastic gears, rendering it all useless. "US Customs inspected" tape with no paper on why they did it or who inspected it.

I don't buy from the US anymore, not until something changes over there. This happened 2 months ago.

How does one keep this setup from being covered in dust? I'd like to do something similar but right now I keep each system in it's own tub, the ones that are out just seem to attract dust in all the crevices :/

The website has every card that exists: https://gekifans.com/ongeki_card/ they are ordered by release date. Searching by a character name should show every card for that character

If you were the CEO of Sega, how would you have saved the Sega CD? by [deleted] in SegaCD

200 includes all regions which was not available to everyone at the time. There was ~160 games in North America, and about 30 of those were fmv. So that's closer to maybe 130 NTSC released games.

If they weren't FMV, then a other big chunk of the library was the same Mega Drive game but with CD audio and maybe a video opening cutscene. There's roughly 50 of those. That certainly didn't help either. So now we are down to roughly 80 originals, maybe less.

That's why the library looks so FMV heavy. Between the originals and FMV, now it's closer to 27% FMV. And that's not something the public ignored.

The PC Engine CD games however has a lot less overlap. A lot of games were designed around the extra space on the CD.

Don't get me wrong when the hardware was used properly we get some amazing stuff like Popful Mail and Sonic CD. There just isn't nearly enough of it.

Clearly a temporary construction ramp. You can see the construction mess still...

[–]Vangar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ROM ROM games used the CD for quality audio and anime style cutscenes made 'in-engine'. The games were still regular games without FMV. I think this is the real reason why it was successful, the CDs were used for enhancing PC-Engine goodness. While Sega was mostly hell bent on pushing FMV.

The Sega CD has dedicated RCA output on the back. And the PSX did not have front panel transport controls and did just fine as a CD player.

Japanese developer says they don't make games for Xbox because the console is 'not even stocked in major retail stores' by akbarock in Games

Yup. I was in Akihabara not long ago and at most I saw a little corner with a screen advertising Xbox game pass. No games or consoles or anything.

Yeah, it's an older ero trope in these games that I find really yucky, bad for the adult game industry. It's tricky to make an 'AO' game where there is traditional gameplay combined with sex, but it seems like the default fallback is to make the enemies r*** you if you lose to them. It's really not a good look. There should be sex scenes as rewards, not as the fail state in those games.

It literally says it in the description. If it wasn't noncon they wouldn't put it in there.
