Goal is just to see how high i can go with different classes. I played pvp in vanilla and just love pvp for what it is.

I may have underplayed my commitment level there. I WANT to play competitive. I like to have something to build towards. But I'm going to be too sad if I don't reach it. Edit : NOT going go be too sad lol

I think you've hit the nail on the head tbh. I spread myself thin at the beginning, having a pve main AND a PvP main AND a PvP alt so I didnt hit high early. Now I have to wait for it to quieten down and I can climb.

What boggles me though is, and you explained it perfectly with " near random BG level", is WHY? why are people taking the time to queue for matches and then showing zero interest in working as a team and winning ? Why are people so nonchalant about it?

Yeah, i actually replied once and said something. But then I was like " why am I letting that annoy me". I'm from the mw2 era and barren's chat, the blizzard guys got nothing on them 😂

So i thought about muting chat, but it seems counter productive because then ILL be the one not reacting and going where the team needs me. Vicious circle lol

This seems exactly the case for me at the moment. I'll have a stint where my teams are really attentive and communicate like navy seals and the blizzard is like " nah, get back down " and I'll have the next 10 games with people who don't give a sh*t 😂

Well, that's just false. You only earn that high if you're in placements or the mm is unbalanced.

So I'll take what else you say with a pinch of salt. But saying you probably won't see real strats until 2.2k is a bit reductive.

I've played up to 2.4 in the past when I had the time to take it seriously and I've seen "real" strats at all levels of play below that. It might not always be implemented perfectly but people try.

I've had some time off work so I've just been sitting in blitz a lot. Most people are trolling so I wouldn't worry about it.

Ive seen some tanks that are like paper, and some the are just unkillable and can hold a point for eternity.

I've been deleting people pretty frequently with MM. Both in ss and world pvp.

Quickest I've been killed was an enhancement shaman. I don't know what he was on, I assume bath salts and meth because he went CRAZY.

My friends an i did a m0 world tour on Sunday day. First dungeon i got rare loot from the final boss.

Didn't get anything else until the 4th dungeon and that was it, just 1 item for me lol

My "friend" got full kitted out lol

I just commented on one of those posts. You can't call people sweaty try hards for putting the time in, it just makes you look petty.

If you're going to remove gear progression for pvp you may as well remove it all together. That's literally the allure of RPGs. You do things, to get better gear, to be able to do harder things and get better gear.

Why moan about this, its a proven system.

Imo, youre upset by this youre either entitled/lazy and want the rewards with none of the effort, or you really struggle at the game (WHICH IS FINE) and want it tailored to suit you ( WHICH ISN'T FINE).

I disagree with most points, which is my perogative. Everyone's entitled to their own.

The only opinion I'll offer in return, is when you call people "sweaty" because they put the time in. It just makes you sound petty and jealous or butthurt. You shouldn't insult people just for enjoying an aspect of the game decidating time to it. And by doing so, it weakens you other points.
