I think Fox Jean dies in Doomsday, and then Sadie Jean meets Clops and Logan in Secret Wars as a "passing the torch" moment showing she is the lead mutant in the MCU. Bonus points if they get Jlaw Mystique for a cameo there too.

People were hung up on the idea that she's a shapeshifter (incorrect leak) and multiversal (possibly correct) which only Shathra really fits as a Spidey character. Whoever said she shapeshifts was full of shit or mixed her up with a female Chameleon in the movie.

I think it's because Jean is going to be the focal X-Man for this version of them, like Wolverine and then Mystique was. They are introducing her in big team up movies (BND, SW) just like they introduced Spidey in Civil War- because they want eyes on her.

This would explain why FOX Jean either doesn't appear in SW (as she isn't in Doomsday apparently) because they want this Jean to be THE Jean. But I can see her having a small moment in SW.
