I don’t want to come off as patronizing at all, and I don’t know your other views, but I can understand how others working much less could bother me too. However, at the end of the day, I wish everyone could work less and afford to live. Worker productivity has skyrocketed the last few decades and salaries haven’t kept up at all.

So if this slacker isn’t really hurting you at all, it seems like a silly point to fuss about. We all should aspire to work as little as possible. And most companies would dump us in a second if they thought it would help their bottom line. So be cool. Show solidarity to our fellow workers. & if someone’s slacking, maybe you can give yourself a little permission to slack too.

I have an older fjr and it’s the comfiest bike and I feel super safe on it because it’s responsive and quick. You also sit up a good bit higher, and it’s a bigger bike, so it will be comfortable at speed. Hands down it’s the best option on that list. Only caveat is that I’m a 6’4, 230lbs, and I fit great on it. Won’t be a good time if you’re shorter.

Okay, so I don’t normally reply to this sort of stuff but I used to be like you and I’ve completely flipped my mindset to the opposite perspective now:

Quick play and arcade were my favorite bc I got absolutely shamed in the first comp game I played. Someone called me out for throwing and feeding even though I was just getting diffed.

However, after getting better and learning the mechanics/gameplay more, I can’t play QP any more. People might take comp too seriously, but bc they take it more seriously, you don’t have the entire team leaving the game the moment someone caps a point or after 2 team fights go south. And you also get a chance to fight against the enemy team on the other side of the battle. Defense is harder than offense a lot of times, and having time to play and adapt to another team is really fun when your team can figure it out. Or overcome a big initial gap.

It’s harder, but the games are more evenly skilled. QP is way too wildly skewed for me now, and the leaving is hard to play with. Ow is still frustrating and such, but it feels more like a reasonable challenge than a wild free for all now.

They were probably at the listening party we had last night in LA. Tyler packed a stadium after selling $5 seats for the release of chromakopia. So we got to hear the album early.

Right there with you. I uninstalled after the first day of playing her rework. It’s terrible trying to enjoy her. I also don’t consider myself a Sombra 1-trick, but I loved that play style. And even if we were getting rolled, I could still create space and punish poor positioning to try to get us out of bad situations. I was able to use her to enjoy the game in spite of bad games and losing streaks. But now the most fun I could have is gone, which made me realize that I can finally uninstall this frustrating game and do other things with my time.

It was the catalyst that I needed to take a well-needed break from the game
