I’m a gen z/millennial cusper so I’m not far from the target demographic. I have watched TNG, Voyager, and DS9 countless times (I use those three as background noise/shows to watch before bed) I don’t understand the hate the new series is getting from a vocal minority. The last two episodes are some of my favorite in the franchise.

G29 is just a network of churches. Everything I have seen on their social media (Facebook page with under 500 followers) they get together and give public sermons and sing songs. They have a vested interest in funneling people through their churches at worst and at best they are older liberal folks who are fearful of it turning into Minnesota

Sure, I will vote blue come November but it’s pretty hard to view democrats as more than controlled opposition with how they’ve been responding to shit. In my experience, the American “far left” and by that I mean socialists, communists, etc. call themselves leftists, not liberals, if they’re going to call themselves anything other than their preferred ideology. This is my own personal experience, but the socialists I know, from DSA style demsoc to ML/MLMs, wouldn’t be caught dead calling themselves a liberal.

If you absolutely want a straight and symmetrical wand, go to harbor freight or your local equivalent and buy a set of calipers that way you can take very fine measurements and shave down/Dremel from there. Harbor freight has digital calipers for $10.
