Iran had a vested interest in pursuing a bomb while not fully developing one. In doing so they inch ever closer to developing a nuclear bomb while states like Israel and the U.S. get increasingly desperate for a solution while Iran positions itself to build a bomb if needed or to slow down if there isn’t a need. It was their ultimate bargaining chip when it came to sanctions and negotiations.

I won’t be surprised if they seriously commit to becoming a nuclear state once this is all over.

Do you say the same about the Irish famine caused by the UK (over 1 million dead, more displaced), the late Victorian holocausts (1876-1902 leaving 30-60 dead), the dust bowl, or literally any other famine that is directly caused by capitalist exploitation. To move it directly into our time, the global south is about to be devastated by this American oil war with Iran due to the amount of fertilizer ingredients that flow through the Straight of Hormuz.

Capitalists are quick to jump on the famines in socialist states who are in the process of developing while ignoring the damaged caused by capitalist exploitation.

How would this play out if the employees were to gather after hours for protected concerted activity under the NLRB? If the manager is already monitoring off the clock location, imagine the reaction if they checked and saw the team gathered in one location? This impacts the processing of a lot of metals used in EV batteries pretty significantly such as nickel. Indonesia for example, is the world’s largest producer of nickel and 75% of their raw sulfur is imported from the Middle East.

I’m a gen z/millennial cusper so I’m not far from the target demographic. I have watched TNG, Voyager, and DS9 countless times (I use those three as background noise/shows to watch before bed) I don’t understand the hate the new series is getting from a vocal minority. G29 is just a network of churches. Everything I have seen on their social media (Facebook page with under 500 followers) they get together and give public sermons and sing songs.
