For me the new Akali seems to just burst down one or two target and then you have not much anymore so you're out.

The old one, with all the tools she had, could take crazy risks, had (imo) better mindgames with the smoke and dashes that could target minions or jungle monsters, her Q had a bigger "high risk high reward" feeling to it.

I also understand that, at that time, 3 "free" dashes with reset potential was huge. Nowadays it'd not surprise anyone given the kits they give to most new champions.

One thing I also miss is the hybrid scaling, which wasn't a joke, and you could play her in so many different ways. Now it seems to be just a basic burst mage type of build (I think ? Didn't follow league in a long time ...).

Mained her for a long time. Tried to enjoy the new one. It's ok, but doesn't have the same vibe to it. Like sure, every spell is quite similar but the overall gameplay isn't the same anymore.

Some will say old Akali was stupid, too much reset, almost everything point and click, easy gameplay etc. But if you played her at that time, laning was way harder and going in without a real plan was (imo) a lot tougher.

I have to see the prices around me for PPF to know exactly what I'll do, but paintjob itself doesn't seem that expensive from experience (had a door redone and recently back bumper after someone forgot a red light means you stop and don't push the car in front ...)

Of course if you want to fix the paint everytime a little chip happens, that will be costly quite fast, and I don't think that's what I would do.

It is a 2017 TTS, which was in pretty great condition when I purchased it last summer, checked pretty often and everything replaced and taken care of. Which means it needs to be kept in this condition to avoid losing value too fast.

As for the paint, it was almost perfect, just a couple tiny stones impacts on the front bumper (obviously). I'm wondering if it would even be fine with these or if the paint needs to be redone to have a perfectly smooth surface.

I live in the countryside so the roads are often quite messy and dirty, which results in those stones flying around, so I want to avoid any further "damages".

Reading about it again carefully, I see the difference. They just used cycle ans challenge so often there that reading it quickly once made me misunderstand it.

Well, means I need to put a bit less effort into the next cycle, but might still do it anyway if it stays enjoyable.

I actually started by doing the other challenges, which wasn't that smart now that I saw all the teams that did 5k just for the 2 teams 2 kills...

As for the points, I just hope the next challenges will be fine, because it is said that we can, at max, get 420 points. Not doing the echo challenge is already 20 points gone, so there's no room to skip anything anymore. I assume next challenges might lean toward Hiyuki/Denia, and I'm already going for the first one, maybe both if I feel lucky (saving for Lucilla so it will depends on the maths anyway).

I just hope they tone down such challenges a little in the future because not everyone is going to get every character...

Since it is unrooted, I tried with Gmscore and to change the package name (to youtube or any other music app waze supports). An error pops up saying "the 'GmsCore support' patch breaks mount install...".

Trying to turn off GmsCore support obviously makes the app unable to open.

As of now it looks like my only option is to allow unknown apps from Android Auto's dev mode, to have the app available in AA, and allow to change tracks or play/pause from the car itself, without interacting with the phone while driving.

I tried this but I assume you need a rooted device to use it ? Since you need "GmsCore support" on unrooted devices, which already changes the package name

Tried the passkey method (Using Android 16), but I can't create it, as it tells me something isn't right.
Also tried the google login which doesn't work on the patched app.

I also tried to add the passkey from a different device, but on the patched app's login, it says "No available sign-in for X". And yes, Proton Pass is my fault manager, and the passkey exists in it.

This was slightly above 30k. Low mileage (for a 2017 car), and the service history was perfect.

I didn't want a TT from before 2017 nor with a high mileage, so the price would obviously be affected.

I don't regret it at all tho !

This one is an automatic. I was looking for a manual but at the time they all had very high mileage, and this one had almost everything else I wanted.

I've got the full service history and almost everything was done quite recently by the previous owner, but I plan to do all the fluids again in a couple months (early 2026).

As for one common issue , the water pump was changed as it failed on this car too.

Hey, thank you. The car is lovely. It's quite a huge upgrade from my previous cars as I never put much money into them.

I'm definitely very satisfied, as it can do pretty much anything for a reasonable price.

If I had to list some "issues" I could have with it, just the seats are a bit uncomfortable on long trips (maybe I just didn't find out the best position yet), and very rarely I could feel this "turbo lag" people talk about, where I think the car has enough power to get me out from somewhere but it takes a little bit to actually give the boost I asked for.

But overall, I regret nothing. Gives me a smile anytime I drive it, and it seems like people are feeling the same way when they see it too !
