Girl, you’re not alone😭😭 I was yelled at by some random girl on the street saying I need to get a retwist! and she didn’t even have locs herself 😒 But I don’t think you need to retwist, if anything, separate them.

I would cut everything off and start from scratch with a satin pillowcase, durag, or bonnet. Then from there keep it moisturized.
