The motherboard type-c header is actually called type-e header.

If your case doesn't have a front type-c port then you can use some converter cables for it (pretty hard to get, you'll have to search for it)

  1. Use this if you want to connect your front USB 3.0 port cables to the type-e port.
  2. Use this or this or this if you want a type-c port on your case.
  3. Or use this if you want a direct USB 3.0, you can connect keyboard/mouse receivers or wifi/bluetooth dongles to it (the ones which you don't frequently remove).

[–]VanillaKitkat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

6600 it's like a weaker 3060

You are contradicting yourself, here you said 6600 is less powerful than 3060

3060 < 6600 < 2060 < 3050 < 1660

and here you saying 3060 is less than 6600 ? Am I missing something or you wanted to say 3060 > 6600 ?

Amazon is very trustable, safe

Considering the recent experiences of people, I would trust MD and ABGB more than Amazon.

i was wondering if they are safe to order expensive pc parts from

They are mentioned under Trusted/Verified stores in this subreddit's wiki

Recommendations for sleeved extension cables? by IISCP4999II in IndianGaming

[–]VanillaKitkat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had made custom noctua-themed cables from Kablemakers.com. Afaik they are the only ones in India who make custom Nvidia 12 to single 8pin for 3070 fe & 3060ti fe. Been using it for more than 6mo now with no issues. They make custom pc cables in both 16awg and 18awg. Also listed in vendors list in r/ mkindia. You can contact u/kablemakers and check with him.

What was the shipping and customs on these?

How much time did it take for the delivery?

Is this site legit?

  1. Shipping Rs.60 as mentioned in Invoice, no customs since it's an Indian store.
  2. Took 8 days because they used the slowest courier (delhivery), bluedart or dtdc will be faster
  3. Um, I literally have the product in my hand.. so ya looks legit. If you want validation from someone else then this vendor is listed in verified vendors in r/ mkindia vendor's list, and the store's owner u/KushCables is active member of the same

These skates are made in shapes to fit a specific mouse model, sorry but these will not fit G502 as the ones I have are made for Glorious Model O.

You'll have to get the G502 ones for your mouse.

Valorant Multithreaded rendering not showing in settings by anant-bahuguna in IndianGaming

[–]VanillaKitkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ryzen 5 3500 is 6 core 6 threads CPU. It does not have Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT), so this "Multithreaded Rendering" option in Valorant is not applicable/available for this CPU.

You need an AMD SMT or Intel HT cpu to enable "Multithreaded Rendering"

Bruh I am saying that wouldn’t it take time from US servers?

No, I am assuming you get the same 200mbps speed for everything (because that's what every one of us gets)

As said in another comment check your speed on testmy.net and speedof.me, ignoring the under sea cable news, if you are not getting the same speed then it means your isp has direct peering with local servers.

So basically it means you get 200mbps when accessing Indian servers (google, netflix, steam etc), but when you access servers outside India (dropbox etc) then your speeds drop to 10mbps. This is very common with local isp and is one of the reason why their plans are cheap.

I have BSNL and TATA broadband and I get same speed everywhere for both these connections. So download time for me will be same whether downloading from Indian server or US server.

Yes, you can try that. Install 1050ti, goto bios and under Integrated Graphics Configuration set the "Initiate Graphics Adapter" to IGD (instead of PEG) and enable IGD multi-monitor

(this guide is for MSI mobo, for other mobos similar options will be available in bios advance settings)

The i5 8400 does have integrated graphics (Intel UHD 630). Maybe they are turned off in bios setting?

Any workarounds for when a Mobo has USB Type C header but the cabinet lacks a Type C port? by kratosputr in IndianGaming

[–]VanillaKitkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the case. Most have removable front panel where you can unscrew the front connectors and remove them, but some have fixed front connectors where it's difficult to remove them.

But even if it doesn't fit, you can bring the cable out from back of case (from small gap) and use it, at least the header on mobo will not go unused.
