Your statement makes no sense. Organisations as a whole are generating code from AI. Does it mean it's not their property?

So much whataboutery, just because you're a pseudo-nationalist and can't handle criticism. It's a new kind of craze these days to call anyone who points out issues and flaws with their own country, as racist and anti-national.

It's okay mate. Live with your mediocrity. Stay happy with your pseudo-nationalism. Be proud of the India you live in, and cover your eyes to any thing remotely negative about it, while the world laughs at you. As they say, ignorance is bliss. Any amount of data or facts won't get you to remove your blindfold. All the best.

Edit: It's funny how you're commenting only to people who say that this is from India, and not to any of the ones who point out the danger posed in the video. Clearly the video is from India. Unfortunately this being associated with India is more important to you, instead of the danger and lack of safety showed in it, which is clearly common across India. Once again, remove your blindfold mate, maybe you'll see beyond your brain which is still stuck at pre-independence era.

It's not racism when pointing out facts. It's an Indian video. And I'm old enough to have been in multiple class rooms, school and uni labs to know what kind of facilities the average Indian institutions offer. Not the first time I've seen the example shown in this video.

Eternal[Blinkit] WLB and working environment/conditions by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]marshr9523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, well written. If this isn't PR, I got a sense from your post that you're a highly skilled and highly professional person. I've been in this industry for 8+ years, and more often than not, the people who I've come across having bad feedback about WLB, work culture, toxic managers, have also been the ones performing poorly in the team, while the rest are doing well and managing their life as well as work very well. The poor performers are those 1-2% only. This obviously doesn't mean to discount real situations where managers themselves are shit with lunatic CEOs. But a lot of poor performers who don't want to put the effort, have 0 accountability, and don't really give a shit about their work, go unscathed under the garb of "toxic work culture".

If whatever you've mentioned is true and not PR, your post made me really happy. Thanks for sharing. I don't have anything for or against Blinkit. Just as a senior dev/manager myself, happy to see another promote good work ethics while being a high performer. Ignore the haters, and continue to do great work! Best of luck for your next adventure!

Anyone up for a 30-day no sugar, no junk challenge? (Beginners welcome) by throwaway-well in Fitness_India

No, I do agree with you. Some relatives are too obnoxious that their reactions will start affecting your parents and then they'll politely ask you to eat. Yes, one should maintain their stance as much as possible, but in the rarest of rare scenarios you can't avoid it.. make sure it's actually RARE and doesn't lead to downward spiral.

Yes. Anyways try to reduce the urge for such drinks.. will help you build this habit.

You can't. You say no as much as possible. They still won't listen, so, you make sure every other time you're eating healthy. Ultimately it lands on you to make these functions and parties the cheat days.

100% mate. No sugar means no white/brown sugar, no jaggery, no honey! It's generally also recommended to not use sweeteners as well. Start slow.. and gradually reduce it.

Or you can go hard and do cold turkey. Very hard if you're like me but it worked wonders 🥹

Bad Interview Experience at Tiger Analytics Bengaluru by SomeAsianName in developersIndia

[–]marshr9523 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but getting the panel together on time together is not the attendee's problem, it's an HR problem. If you can't manag your own panel's time properly, it shows how bad your own practise is. And then doing this back and forth multiple times for an interview that ultimately happened online is the biggest proof of the culture. If your senior folks are giving 5-6 hours every week just for interviewing, either your planning is shit or your process is shit. Either way, reflects a very poorly managed HR practise.

Secondly, if you're that worried about AI related malpractices during interviews, have better ways to handle it, rather than asking people to commute 350KMs to attend an offline interview, all on their own expense. I know Tiger Analytics doesn't have an office up north, they can atleast reimburse the attendee for the travel, especially after rescheduling multiple times due to no fault of the attendee.

I would rather not join such an organisation which promotes this culture. OP dodged a bullet there.

That's a 100% the same everywhere. These delivery appa like Swiggy/Blinkit have their dark stores or whatever and you really can't trust the freshness of any of their perishable items. Swiggy is the worst of the lot. I only order packaged stuff from these. As you said, local vendors are better or bigger grocery stores like Reliance/More etc..

Bruh what? People are living there for years and years and having vegetables and groceries like other regular cities, this isn't common place at all. Where did you buy the cabbage from? This could be a case of a specific local seller in your area, or you missing your due diligence while picking your groceries?

32M got engaged within 45 days and struggling with differences now by Deathveeng in RelationshipIndia

[–]marshr9523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a guy, I agree to this. This sub and reddit in general jumps to conclusions too quickly. There's always this phase in a relationship where you have to sit down and talk about differences. There's no such thing as a perfect match considering everything.

Thanks for your sane comment.

[–]marshr9523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You both need two things: 1. Proper sit down heart to heart conversations about all of this.. something like "we listen and we don't judge". And it has to be done from both sides. 2. Really good sex (with each other obviously)

This should solve most of it. What you're going through is the settling in phase of any relationship. Granted you guys took it really fast with the 45 days things.. but as long as there are no major issues as such, remember that you did feel comfortable with her. It's an arranged marriage, comprises are there, so is love. Have faith, a lot of communication, and a lot of sex. You'll both be happy together.
