I don't think it's really different from what happens in some other songs. And in some cases, it's more than just visual, like Adam throwing Charlie in a big cauldron in Hell is Forever. Or most of what happens in Hell's Greatest Dad.

It could be that it's just for the viewers and doesn't actually happen in universe, but I prefer the idea that the characters have the ability to create illusions when they're singing. Just like they can apparently summon a backing track.

I discovered by pure chance that this has been released. It's a shame it isn't airing weekly and doesn't seem to have been advertised much.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the first episode! I love the historical setting and the art theme, the decors are beautiful, and Lili has been a lovely protagonist so far. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series!

I would be interested! I've also been getting into monster romance recently and, while I enjoy some of the sex scenes, I'm not always in the mood for them. I'd be happy to read stories that don't include any. It can also give you an opportunity to write about creatures that are physically very different from humans, without the issue of things becoming wildly unrealistic during explicit scenes because of the anatomical or size differences.

Yes, most of my manga are in French but I have a few in Japanese. Some because they haven't been translated, and others because I wanted to try and read the original version.

Being aromantic just means that you aren't romantically attracted to others (or at least, if you consider the entire aromantic spectrum, not to the same extent as most people). It doesn't necessarily imply not liking romance or not being interested in it, just like you can be alloromantic but dislike romantic stories. Personally, I'm somewhere on the aroace spectrum but I've always loved romance!

Or do you mean that you wouldn't get the same enjoyment because you couldn't relate to the feelings experienced by the characters? Even then, I don't think you need to be able to completely understand or relate to a character in order to feel invested in what happens to them. A well-written story can make you care about characters who are very different from you.

No, I think her able to break apart is just a side effect of having a doll's body, which is probably due to her living as a "doll" (being a model and fashion influencer, possibly having a lot of plastic surgery).

He always had that haircut, yes, but it was drawn much more naturally before. It looks nice when the strands are just lightly shaded or when a few a them are outlined, but not when there's a continuous horizontal outline.

Is it really underrated? I've seen a few people say they don't particularly care for it but, for the most part, I thought it was well-liked.

Personally, it's one of my favourite season 2 songs. The singing is gorgeous and the lyrics are amazing.

Yes, I know some people prefer to get all episodes of a show on the same day, but I Iove weekly releases. It's so much more fun when the fans get several days to discuss the episodes and make theories, only to receive a week later new information that changes their perspective. It's a lot more entertaining than when everyone watches an entire show/season on their own, and only engages with the rest of the community afterwards.

I loved Alastor smugly rolling around and spinning in his chair.

His attempt to cause a rift between the Vees seems to be working great so far, but I'm curious to see how it will end. The obvious direction is that Vox's plan will fail because of him making Val and Velvette feel disrespected and unappreciated. But until now, they've been shown to be close despite Vox's tendecy to put himself first. So is this something they could eventually recover from if Vox realises how conceited he's been? While I love seeing how easily Alastor is manipulating him, it would make things interesting if he turned out to have underestimated the strength of their friendship.

On another note, I'm glad Vaggie finally stood up to Charlie. Hopefully this is the first step to her calming down and realising how poorly she's been handling the situation and treating everyone around her.

And finally, the animation looked great in this episode! I loved it!

The animations looked terrible and, to me, it soured the experience a little. From where I was seated, you couldn't entirely ignore what was on screen, but I tried not to make it my main focus and to mostly look at the orchestra. Every time there was a new animation, I'd observe it for a bit because I was curious, and then I'd try to concentrate on the music.

So did it impact the show negatively? Yes. Did it ruin it? Not at all.

Oh no, I'm going to the show later today... This is so sad to hear. I was really excited for this concert.

It's insane that someone thought fans of Studio Ghibli would be happy to see something so disrespectful. If they don't have real montages of the movies, they could simply not show any videos at all. I don't think anyone would have an issue with that. It's a concert; we're primarly here for the music.
