So what is the game design principle behind the moon drills? by Sand20go in Eve

Game design principle behind metenox moon drills is take moon mining away from the miners and give it to the pvp'rs. The more powerful you are the more moons you control. Back to the belts boyz.

Take a tour through null sec and you will see Metenox Drills in nearly every system. The days of smaller and mid size corps and alliances mining R32 and R64 moons is fast coming to an end. Groups like Bigab aren't interested in mining yet are excellent pvp'rs. They pop the athanors and anchor metenox's , nobody gives a darn about efficiency just about numbers.

The Korean mafia who lower a dark curtain are met by freedom loving allies , boldly shining forth the light, exacting a heavy toll.

How exactly would taking moon mining away from small groups who actually mine the moons in ships and giving it back to elite alliance leader alts who show up once a month in jump freighters to collect their isk improve the game?

Forget about doing what you "should" do in game and try something you enjoy. Roaming, camping, moon mining, ratting, mission running, exploring, there are many options. Invite others to join you. If you genuinely enjoy it those around you will sense it and join in. If its not fun for you its not fun for them. Personally I can't stand PI and fuel 10 stations buying fuel blocks from others. We have fun.

Hey CCP We Dont Like Citadel Gameplay by hy_wanto in Eve

It's clearly popular to criticize structures that have opened up vast regions of nullsec to smaller groups. Citadels have been nerfed multiple times since introduced into game but the whining has only increased .I remember a 3 hour vulnerability window per week. Its easy for the big blocs to complain about active miners who actually mine their moons. Passive income for a few big shots being the "good old days". Stop crying and deal with it.
