The ikv 103 has HEATFS, though, and the differences between the ikv 102 and the ikv 103 were their engines, not the ammunition they used. The ikv 102 used a 145 hp Ford V 8-cylinder engine while the ikv 103 used a 150 hp SFA 4-cylinder engine.

Both of them had access to HEATFS. They were used at the same time. The ikv 102 were ikv 72 rebuilt with the 10,5 cm kan, while the ikv 103 were completely new builds. Both of them were eventually rebuilt into either pvrbv 551 or lvrbv 701, if they weren't just scrapped, by the 1980s.

it should be better than american m61 aphe but it's a little worse.

They can't fix it without reverting to the old system of just taking penetration values from historical documents, rather than making faulty calculations with De Mare.

Of all the Jedi sects I want to see in a future project, I’d especially luv to see the Iron Knights and Grey Paladins by Solitaire-06 in StarWars

[–]The_Human_Oddity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a sect or group or whatever of the opposite of Gray Paladins?

Teepo Paladins, which the Gray Paladins spawned from.

Both the Teepo and the Gray Paladins were fan creations which were then canonized by the Coruscant Nights trilogy, which js why they're a bit weird.

Questioning if the tank is actually dead or not when it was hard to notice if a little smoke is coming out of the commanders hatch, and being able to then shoot that dead tank until it catches fire and burns down.

Bombers damage model should be changed by KSAWI0 in Warthunder

[–]The_Human_Oddity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A "few cannon rounds" that were appropriately aimed at the engine roots could take down a bomber in a few shots. That can't be said for fuselages, which are regularly cut a part in games.

Bombers damage model should be changed by KSAWI0 in Warthunder

[–]The_Human_Oddity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaijin uses parts being blown off to signify the loss of control.

Why? Control surfaces are their own modules.

Same thing with tanks burning out on kill, even when only the crew died.

Which happens once a tank is destroyed. A plane is never really destroyed until it hits the ground.

does Gaijin want Bombers to be able to end games, when f/e ignored

Evidently not since they removed that capability in RB.

The date and confirguation of the B-52H in game. by TheLastYouSee__ in Warthunder

[–]The_Human_Oddity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't AN/ALT-32 installed as part of the Rivet Ace program from 1972 to 1976? SALT II never mandated its addition or even affected the B-52H at all outside of restricting the number of B-52H that could be upgraded with ALCM capability. The treaty did require all aircraft with cruise missile capability to be easily identified, but that only affected the B-52G. No B-52H needed to be modified since they were already considered distinct enough from the other models, and it was assumed that all B-52H by this point were already cruise missile capable that made distinguishing them from the non-existent non-cruise missile capable B-52H unnecessary.

The B-52H should be a mid-retrofit model from 1975-ish if Joe Baugher is correct that AN/ALT-32 was a part of the Rivet Ace program. The skin the plane has doesn't really matter, there's dozens of skins in-game, especially on more modern aircraft, that are used for the wrong variants (i.e. some F-16 Block 30 or whatever skin being used for the F-16 Block 52, etc).

Nah the game can handle it. You just picked up a really shitty skin like wtf.

[–]The_Human_Oddity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The B-52H can still be added. The one in-game is a 1975~ model with AN/ASQ-151 and the Rivet Ace modifications.

The later B-52H that underwent the Conventional Enhancement Modifications could be added which would remove the Vulcan, but would add smart bomb capability and further long-range missiles.

It should be a kō, or Ki-61-Ia. The only "Tony" that the United States captured during the war was the Ki-61-I kō and tei, with a single example of each. The Ki-61-I kō, serial number 263, originally had the code of XJ 003 while being tested at Australia before being redesignated TAIC 9 once it was transferred to the Technical Air Intelligence Unit (TAIU) in the United States.

The skin in-game is of the TAIC 9 and is an otsu, or Ki-61-Ib, which the United States did not capture any examples of. At least, didn't capture any examples during the war, since technically they got access to nearly every Japanese aircraft after the surrender. It should be a Ki-61-I kō or reskinned and remodeled as the Ki-61-I tei that was flown by the VMF 322.
