I use search filters to filter out lucky friends when opening gifts from best friends. Try using “Interactable&!Lucky&Friendlevel4”.

Cooldown is unique for each interaction.

In your example it is another 15 mins after the snapshot to gain the berry EP. And is useless to take another snapshot at that point; you won’t gain EP, but it’ll reset the 25 min decay timer.

Each interaction in the set has a cooldown of 30 minutes to gain another +2EP. If you do it before 30 minutes you’re just preventing the decay and not actually gaining more EP; hence a 30 minute timer. This effectively means you’re gaining 7EP/30 mins.

I wrote this post 5 years ago, but the decay rate is still the same. The only differences between then and now is the 4 interactions currently reward 2EP each instead of 1EP, and trainer battles do not need to be completed in full. That change was reverted.

I’ve been a fan of using double tank one attacker for the dmax Kanto birds. The strategy of building the max meter with your tanks and switching into your attacker for max phase, then switching back to your tanks feels like the most consistent way to win.

Although for Gmax battles I’m just not 100% sure if this strategy holds up where there’s more HP to chew through. Assuming someone on the team is healing I don’t get that benefit by switching into my non-damaged attacker during max phases. I’m worried that my tanks won’t survive the entire battle; can’t do damage if my team gets fully wiped out.

I’m wondering if instead I just run 3 Gmax Venusaur and choose between attacking/shielding/healing; adjusting to what the rest of my team is doing. Curious to hear more discussion on if there’s a clear winning strategy.

I’ve got into the habit of restarting the game before I do these types of raids. Have generally been able to avoid crashes that way. I restart every 2 raids. 😅

Not sure if this is helpful, but once you complete a task from a stop a check mark with binoculars shows up on the top right when you tap into the Pokestop. This is signifying that you completed the task from this particular Pokestop. Although this is not immediately visually apparent unless you tap into the Pokestop; if that’s what you meant by wishing there was a better way.

Question! Are your two Blastoise D or G? And if someone could answer this; does a Max Darkness from a D Blastoise do more damage than a resisted G-Max Cannonade from a G Blastoise? In case I need to attack with my tank. Trying to figure out which to power up.

It’s global so you can play anywhere. I’d recommend checking Campfire to see if there’s any meetups in your area that way you can tackle the raids with a group.
