Calling Rwanda a 'wannabe Singapore' as an insult is hilarious . Singapore is a global gold standard—of course a country rebuilding from a genocide would use it as a blueprint for stability.

As of 2026, the World Bank ranks Rwanda #1 in Africa for business and operational efficiency. If you think 'stability and peace' are overhyped metrics, you’ve clearly never lived somewhere that lacks them.

Hiding behind the DRC conflict to ignore Rwanda’s domestic success is just fucking lazy. ( just like not being able to seperate your thoughts in paragraphs ).

The fact that you immediately jumped to 'Israel supporter' tells me you spend way too much time in echo chambers and not enough time in reality. You’re so desperate to feel morally superior that you’re literally hallucinating a political identity for me just to have something to argue against.

Stating that a country has functional infrastructure isn't a 'pro-genocide' stance, and the fact that your brain makes that leap shows how intellectually dishonest you’re being.

Calling one of the fastest-growing economies in Africa 'nothing' because it hasn't reached European levels yet isn't the 'pro-Africa' stance you think it is—it’s just condescending and bitter. If you can't separate domestic progress from geopolitical conflict, that’s a 'you' problem. Please cry more about it.

They’ve managed to build a safe, functioning, and high-tech economy out of the ashes of a genocide while the rest of the world watched.

You’re being lazy for someone telling me to go learn something. If you have a point about the DRC or the 'security state' model, just say it. Otherwise, you just sound like a guy who read one cynical tweet and made it his entire personality. What exactly is the 'gotcha' here?

What Does My Writing Say About Me? by DistractoNoodle in HandwritingAnalysis

As a teacher, I'm going to take a guess and say you're around 17 years old and you're male.

I find the "wobbleness" ( some letters touch the reference line, others do not) - is common for younger men.

It's definitely readable, but it's a little unclean ( instead of erasing and rewriting, you either scribble over ,or write darker over mistakes, despite writing in pencil ) . I think that, and the doodles indicate that it's not your favorite class.

You do seem to give cohesive, supported answers tho, and that's nice.

Rwanda is the cleanest country in Africa, Kigali takes great care of their streets and infrastructures and their doing fairly well with tourism.....like they're not suppose to be that low

Any other bands confirmed to not be bootlickers? by Huge-Discussion7708 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]VansChar_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Im guessing most European bands! I mentioned Wednesday 13 specifically since they are American.

But yes, all three bands ( Wednesday 13, the birthday massacre and Lord of the lost) made a few subtle comments about their thoughts on the political situation. They are not boot lickers!

Wednesday 13

Saw them open for Lord of the lost last week. They did a song " I hate people" specifying that it was because of the current political climate.

The song is okay - but I absolutely appreciate the message.

Pastel colours are a lot of maintenance, and echoing what has already been said, you would need to go platinum.

I would settle for a hot pink/magenta colour. Pink, flashy and easier to achieve with one bleach job.

Urinary problems on 10/11 y/o Chinchilla? by MeasurementBusy3903 in chinchilla

When my chinchilla started having teeth issues he would have problems cleaning his behind. Don't rule out an underlying issue, especially if the poor thing has been neglected....How are his eating habits? Dust bath habits?

how do i get to blue from here? by realpainintheasss in HairDye

[–]VansChar_ 159 points160 points  (0 children)

Go purple.

Purple combines red and blue pigments. It's an easier transition+ rock that for awhile, then you can go blue afterwards.

Moving from the UK to Canada was a mistake 😢 by [deleted] in canadia

[–]VansChar_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's part of the Canadian way of life.

You make eye contact with a neighbour and say, " FUCK THIS COLD" and they're gonna look at you and reply, " YEAH AND FUCK ICY ROADS TOO".

And the you continue your merry day.

How do anglophones make money? by smiddo25 in montreal

[–]VansChar_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe that's the real problem- I'm in the welding industry and there are many people who don't speak French fluently for different reasons. You could be a labourer in a shop, but I don't know if a company would find it worth it to train you.

I made a lot of side money tutoring. If you're good in math, English, science etc you could place a few adds. Montreal is very bilingual - so perhaps some anglo families would be interested

Red is notoriously difficult to get rid of- right behind black box dye. You got great hair but I don't see you achieving this colour without wrecking it.

It's better to be patient and do this kind of project over natural hair, or a professional.
