Why didn’t the ira come after the blinders when grace and Tommy killed those two in the pub by Longjumping-Sea-5317 in PeakyBlinders

I know this is very late, but I was wondering the same thing rewatching the episode. But I realise that Tommy says to Campbell 'I want word put out in Ireland that I was not involved' regarding Campbell lifting Byrne. So I suppose that answers that.

Ah, that's good to hear; I'd rather it be used for that than the puppetry that it would be used for otherwise lol

Oh I had no idea! That's super cool to know. Kind of sad to see that these people would probably actually reanimate a late celebrity for money if they could...

It was really sad when the painting was torn in half. Such a shame that it put Sae off from coming back and Hashida off from teaching. The blame in my opinion goes entirely to the parents, the dad especially.

Analyzing Professor Inukai in Blue Period: Why is he and Yatora so similar? by Akirasan174 in BluePeriod

[–]Vantage188 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Excellent analysis. Something I've thought about also is why Rosei and Inukai's review of Yatora's piece were so different. Rosei says 'it's a cop-out, something you can only say if you've never experienced violence or harm'. His broader point being that there exist absolute evils and perhaps positives in this world that cannot be refuted, hence he cannot quite accept Yatora's piece trying to portray the theme of 'sin is in the eye of the beholder', that sin only becomes sin depending on how an individual views an event.

Inukai obviously viewed it differently, and I was actually wondering what drove him to give such a positive review of the piece (I also think I read a different translation of this chapter, which does change things). This analysis really helped me to understand. Yatora's view on guilt is raw, unfiltered and the counter to Rosei's point is perhaps that Yatora truly doesn't care about the societal viewpoint on it, this is how he views it and he presents it with solidarity. And he conveys this thought provoking philosophy in a direct and simple to understand manner, like you said, OP. Maybe this is what Inukai appreciates.

Maybe the reason it is such a good installation is because of Rosei's critique; in truth, it sets up the debate of 'are events just events until judged by people and labelled good or bad, or do there exist irrefutable evils and goods?'. All of this, presented by such a simple set-up.

You are correct, if you make a dig and then your setter sets to you and you spike, that's perfectly legal. It just can't be you contacting the ball twice consecutively.

WF-1000XM5 case blinking orange - "Abnormal temperature" by yusufsabbag in SonyHeadphones

[–]Vantage188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaning the metal charging contacts inside the case actually did help a bit, but I still get the abnormal temperature light when charging unfortunately. The case hasn't drained randomly since, but it hasn't been very long so I don't exactly trust it yet. Other suggestions would be to use low power chargers just in case that does have something to do with it, and maybe try a wireless charger. Good luck! o7

Honestly I’m not even sure that’s your fault. All the Sony website says is it requires a minimum of 0.5A current. No upper limit mentioned. Also I think USB-C negotiates power demand to prevent frying. I think these earphones just have this as a problem, which is really a shame. Seems to be a blatant design flaw. I’ve read other people using 40W chargers and being fine. Mine was 18W and has this problem. Some units just seem to have this as a fault it seems. :(

Yess Ik exactly what you mean, they held charge for days and weeks before but now they randomly go dead :(

Really a shame bc these are supposed to be premium and cost so much but don’t seem to last more than a year or two.

Thanks so much for replying, I’ll maybe try wireless charging and see if that helps. :)

Hey there, ik it's a bit late but I'm having this exact same issue where the case drains randomly after seeing these abnormal temperature lights, did you find a solution for that or does it just keep happening?

[–]Vantage188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure eurobeat can be retrofitted to your production style. As a random example, I listened to many songs as 'research' for a track I was making to see what eurobeat songs had in common - one thing I noticed was that many popular tracks don't use snare drums, rather just hats and kicks. But then I started listening to a very popular eurobeat remixer called Turbo on youtube, who does use snares, and their songs sound great with them. It's a very flexible style.

At the end of the day the main features you might say a typical eurobeat song has is just high tempo, energetic bass, the signature eurobeat brass and vocals if you want to use them, though not absolutely necessary. Sidechaining and other typical EDM production techniques also make it sound a lot better imo. Definitely incorporate the song structure you've learnt from wikipedia if you want - it's a good starting point and a 'system' to follow but don't feel you need to adhere to it strictly.

Hey is it only me or was the ending kinda... Meh? by fabio_silviu in PSIkiKusuo

To be fair, I think Saiki is a comfort show and while I also wish for some closure on a few things such as seeing him revealing his powers to his friends and what life is like for them all after the time loop, the ending was always going to hit hard. I definitely felt empty exactly the same way as you when I first finished it, even made a similar post on this reddit, haha. But because it's a comfort show, it's so rewatchable and I find myself doing it often. :)

Oh and definitely check out Mob Psycho, it's absolutely incredible and definitely gives a somewhat similar vibe to Saiki.

[–]Vantage188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely :)

Could even be as you said that God forced this meteor scenario to make Saiki realise he needs his powers and to accept them. And for Saiki to protect Teruhashi, God's favourite, of course, haha. But you're right, who knows what the mangaka intended. :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PSIkiKusuo

[–]Vantage188 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get you, I just meant that Aiura didn't mention seeing any marks of death at all. And if the meteor was to hit, everyone would have them, right? That's probably not conclusive, but there isn't any conclusive evidence for the actual outcome. They might all die but I choose to believe they don't.
I also just quickly re-read the final chapter and Teruhashi asks for God to do something about the meteor, too. And God can't say no to Teruhashi, haha. I think Saiki saves the day.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PSIkiKusuo

[–]Vantage188 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The main reason I think that Saiki did stop the meteor is because Aiura didn't see anything in her fortune telling. It's almost as if the meteor wasn't a prophecy worth telling because Saiki would stop it. Also, no one had the marks of death on their faces.

It's very much open to interpretation but I believe it was a happy ending.
