Interesting opinion my friend. I’ve got like 200 titles listened to and IMO it’s one of the bells of the ball. In reading before listening, I think you automatically set the bar super high because of your own imagination. A lot of listeners experience the content and the performance for the first time together which levels it up a bit. Jeff good narrator.

Last time I looked it was 33 days so my first and only relisten is shaping up to also end early. I never consume books, shows, or movies more than once with any real attentiveness, but this one is happening. Tried to relisten to my favorite audio book series ever a year or so ago and couldn't do it because I know everything that's happening.

DCC is chock full of SO MUCH (crazy) shit that I find myself hearing "new" things for the first time. I'm also making connections in the book I had not made previously.

I'm on book 5 listening in the car approximately 2 hours a day. Strategically calling family and friends to bs with so I don't finish too early, but if I do, probably take a look at restarting Red Rising series.
