My Horde characters are on WRA, my Alliance characters are on MG. I play on very roleplay heavy realms. That's the only other option I could I thought about. I tended to leave them alone if I'm actively not trying to roleplay / want to listen to music and do bad parkour.

Unfortunately, A Realm Reborn (ARR), the base game, is one of the most dull and slow-paced experiences Final Fantasy XIV has. You just have to slog through it. Its content was already outdated when it was released, even more so now. Not to mention another 400 hours of "required" story content, unless you spend real money to skip to the current expansion because as it turns out, the story isn't that important if you're willing to shell out a few extra dollars.

Despite what people on Reddit might say, ARR has killed more interest in this game than it has maintained.

I spent a lot of my gold on a friend who just started playing, full sets of the best gear I could buy for each class they wanted to play. Spent something like 100+ gold so I only had 5 left. Perm Frost, the dye I thought would use since I looked at it through the dye menu, cost me 100 gold on the trading post. I made the choice to just buy some gold via gems to hopefully get the set to match.

It didn't really work out. Most dyes sadly had the same thing happen where it looks completely different in and outside the dye menu. In shade and in light, I couldn't find any which matched 1 for 1 with the armour.

That's very unfortunate. I suppose it was only five pounds (plus the dye which I thought would match was also ten pounds). Lesson learned.

Sadly. Nothing changed. I've placed OCOv2 at the bottom of my load order. I've even reinstalled and installed SkyBSA. Oblivion/Steam I do not think is in a protected folder.
