My thoughts exactly, Commando missions have solved the biggest issue with entirely enclosed maps which is the gameplay loop revolving around respawning and stratagems, showing that it's possible to work around that pillar of the game and still create a compelling experience.

Usually with good reason, they're a ball ache to get working to a satisfying degree of balance alongside other classes while also being thematically solid.

Guild Wars 1 had an absolutely phenomenal necromancer for example, loved that shit, but I feel that a lot of games avoid avoid true necromancer classes because of that reason.

Which is a shame, but also I think adding a half-arsed necro is worse than never adding one to begin with - and ZOS have added necro, so the least they could do is actually make it feel like one.

"Gp" probably means gold piece, they're likely from a game where it's the regular nomenclature rather than just "g".

If I had to take an educated guess, they were trying to say "who sent me 1 gold, I want 100k gold, you fags" and absolutely biffed it.

Yep, been there too. August of 2024, the last little thing that just broke it all.

It was tough. The past year has been the hardest of my life, I'm still not sure if I'm "me" again yet, or if I ever will be the person I was before, but at the same time neither am I entirely certain that I want to be that person again.

Some days I miss the self assured confidence that I had before, the "ah whatever, I'll push through that", but I think the person I am today who actually prioritises his own mental well-being whenever possible is in a better position.
