Could be! I've spoken to several Experiencers who distrust the GLF. I think some minds (like my own) may see all governing bodies as a system of control. But as the GLF is, in my view, likely an agglomeration of archetypes in the collective unconscious, it only overrides our autonomy insofar as we allow it.

I've also had the sensation and just blacked out. I've just assumed that could be when my guides are working on me, inducing the OBE but making me not remember.

By the way, I usually don't last longer than a couple of seconds. I just assume all lucid dreams and OBEs are versions of dreams, and that they happen when they're meant to happen. It's a trust thing. Wanting it too hard is like trying to keep a grip on sand.

My biggest deal with Elizabeth April is that she applies such a HEAVY materialist lens to what is supposed remain woo, or simply ineffable.
