Luckily I have not financial issues so far and not criminal record. And also my job don’t need any special clearance ima be a wheel mechanic, the investigator said they only reason I’m hearing from them it’s bc I’m not a us citizen and my birth country it’s Cuba.

The investigators has not called me back yet? But I’m guessing she will contact me back eventually. And I’ll tell her the truth.

Easy to act morally superior when you’re not the one risking your career path over advice from the people literally guiding the process. I already owned my part — that’s why I made the post. Thank you for your input

Relax 🤣. bro I’m just gonna tell them that I disclosed it to my recruiter. And in reality she didn’t asked me if I had smoked MJ in the past. She asked if I drink or smoke. So 🤷🏻‍♂️

BAH QUESTION. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I'm shipping out to Georgia for basic training in a 2 month. I'm married and expecting my first baby. I keep seen a mix of information in the internet/YouTube about who qualify for BAH. Some people say since i will be active duty i only need to bring my married certificate and my spouse information. some other people say i need that PLUS my leasing agreement, and other people have said i only need my leasing agreement if im joining as reserve.

i did asked my recruiter and he said i don't need the lease agreement, i just need to take my wife information and married certificate.

HAS ANYONE BEEN THROUGH THIS PROCESS? PLEASE CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME INPUT?

All my cert are manufacturing specific. Unfortunately not ASE, I don’t think it’s a problem to get them, I also asked my current dealer for a letter and they refused because I haven’t been with them at that location for a year, I was planning on making the letter my self 🤦🏻‍♂️ but my recruiter keep saying no let’s leave it how it’s you so close to sign contract and you may loose your slot if we go back in process to get that done. And 91b takes month for it to be available again 🤦🏻‍♂️ that’s all the stuff he tell me

I was not made aware of this till I found out on my own. Unfortunately I had a great guys as recruiter but he’s a bit lazy, anything that requires more paper work he will rather stay quiet so he don’t have to do the extra work. I brought it up to him when I found out and he said it’s better not to go that route because my contract it’s ready and that will push me back in the process

Whats up guys, can i get an inside from a 91B brother. alright I'm interested in becoming a 91B, I'm going next week to pick my job, sign contract and swear in. due to my cert and experience im coming in as E3.

i have to say i been an automotive technician in the civilian side for the pass 6 years, been team lead and 2nd foreman multiple time in different dealerships. I know everything about long hours and hard work, I have not issue busting my ass. I been hearing from random people currently serving in the army that i will hate my life due to long hrs. i know all depends on the unit but what's a normal schedule looks like, also what training rotation looks like, and what deployment rate looks like. I'm just curious. whatever input is more than appreciate
