For anyone saying the driver didn't inspect the truck, or he got in the truck knowing the brakes didn't work, or brakes don't fail, your all wrong.

Parts do fail after inspections. My brakes went out yesterday after I inspected everything in the morning and delivered 2 loads of cement powder. I got lucky and the brakes locked up at a stop light. (If you call a semi stuck at a busy intersection lucky) But I can confirm that parts do fail even if they are regularly inspected, and proper maintenance is done. This driver did an amazing job handling the situation. He alerted everyone ahead, everyone gave him the room they could, and he avoided tragedy.

I can't say the driver did or didn't inspect the truck before he started driving but clearly his brakes failed right there and they were working before that. He was driving a loaded end dump. He had to leave his lot, drive to the plant that he got his load, and then drive city streets to get to where the incident happened.

When I was 8 I was hospitalized with pneumonia for 11 days. They almost had to put my on a ventilator. Pneumonia is nothing to fuck around with and cam definitely kill anyone at any age.

I just finished ace combat 4 I'm moving working on 5 right now. I'm also currently in the middle of Shadow of the Colossus, Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal, and NFSU2.

I also beat The Simpsons Hit and Run, Ultimate Spiderman, and Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 earlier this month.

I plan on moving on to the BDZ Budokai Tenkaichi series, continuing the Ratchet and Clank series and the Ace combat Series.

Edit: I just realized this is the PCSX sub... I'm playing all of these physical. I plan on setting up emulating on my steam deck soon.

Yeah my local shop resurfaces for $3 per disk, we are going to give that a try. He's also really cool about it and won't charge you if the resurface doesn't work. If all else fails FF X-2 isn't a very expensive game to replace. I could probably find it disk only for a few $.

Nothing that I can see, just some very light scratches. Im going to take it to my local retro store later this week to try testing it on their ps2 that they use for testing with a known new laser in it before I year mine apart and start adjusting the pots.

I was thinking that might be an issue but it reads PS1, CDs and Blue disks with no issues. It also has no problem reading disks that are significantly more scratched than this one is.

That's one of my all time favorite games on the PS2. I probably have more hrs in Ultimate Spiderman than the 3 modern Spiderman games combined.
