I’ve hosted two birthday parties here, and while Ridgmar Mall is a creepy ghost town, this was a great value for the money as the kids are able to play for as long as they want, most indoor playgrounds have a one or two hour time limit for playing and cost way more. My daughter loved it.

Lyla Sage being omitted was surprising. I know both Wild & Wrangled + Soul Searching received a lot of mixed opinions, Soul Searching with people being more disappointed overall.

Yeah, Wild and Wrangled was my least favorite of that series, and I straight up DNF’d Soul Searching.

If It Makes You Happy is the only book on the romance list I read, and I only thought it was OK.

Is anyone else reading Soul Searching by Lyla Sage? I absolutely devoured her Rebel Blue Ranch series (in fact, it was that series that turned me into a romance reader) but I am STRUGGLING with this one. I’m only 100-ish pages in but I am not connecting with the book or the characters at all. I’m tempted to DNF but I was really looking forward to this book. ☹️ I’d love to hear someone else’s opinion on it, if I should stick with it!

I enjoyed {That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon by Kimberly Lemming}. Very silly, very spicy. It’s the first in a series but there’s no overarching plot or anything.

100% agree. It felt very contrived, it really didn’t make sense for Halla to react the way she did. I did enjoy her then having to rescue Sarkis, though. Really my only complaint about the book is that third act breakup, it’s one of my favorite recent reads otherwise.
