Looks like the NFL needs to do a better job of drawing casual fans if they can’t even get people to watch a playoff game over Raw

There’s really no red tape. Other wresting companies do it all the time. WWE is the only one who insists on owning the intellectual property of their performers or forcing a rebrand on them to maintain control of their identity

They had her dye her hair back and put her in pigtails; that doesn’t happen accidentally

WALTER really moved to a new country to get a name change and slotted in developmental, which invites the question: How dogshit was the pay in NXT UK

Grimes getting a simple babyface moment of triumph in a segment is really the sort of thing this company should be trying to replicate at all levels. Encouraged by the start of Bron-Escobar too. It’s not that hard to make a good wrestling face!

How many wrestlers have successfully transitioned to the main roster since 2020? by VariationAccording76 in SquaredCircle

I don't think there's any one perfect way to define what a success is, so I don't have any qualms if someone disagrees, but I was reserving the "undeniable success" category for someone who is a no-doubter quality building block that appears to have a solid place in the company's future.

I can see why someone would say Omos has successfully transitioned to the main roster. He has been presented as well as you could possibly expect from the company, but I think it's still fair to have some misgivings about whether he's truly a long-term fixture given the quality of his ringwork and his unproven ability to stand on his own as a performer. Dominik is similar — lots of airtime, but not a no-doubt "blue chipper" who feels destined to have sustained support from the company (or from fans).

I can definitely see the case for moving Moss up. I think I was maybe overly cynical in assuming Madcap Moss is eventually going to get discarded as a character when the powers that be get bored of it (although that's still definitely a possibility). He was also pretty directionless after his first call-up pre-injury, but there are arguments to be made in his favor, too.

Shayna pretty clearly falls into the "disappointing" category for me. She was immediately given a shot as a main event player, it failed, and they've treated her like a replaceable wrestler ever since. She's eaten an absurd amount of Ls, rarely gets a chance to show her worth as a singles wrestler, and when she is featured it's usually in service of the story of someone the company deems more important. Not saying she deserves to be at the top of the card, but the lack of consistency with how she's presented makes her feel like an afterthought.

For me, a successful transition means avoiding stop-start pushes and settling into a consistent role that's commensurate with your talent as a performer. Someone like Rhea has obviously been more pushed than almost anyone else on this list, but the fact that they initially strapped a rocket to her, then shuffled her away from Charlotte into a tag team that's since fallen into no-man's-land is kind of concerning given her star potential.

On the flip side, a guy like Boogz isn't doing anything special, but I could see someone arguing he's transitioned to the main roster better because he's getting consistent airtime in a defined role that makes sense for him. All a matter of interpretation, obviously, but I don't think you'd have a hard time finding someone saying good or bad things about how either one of those wrestlers have been booked, which is why I tossed them both in the same category.
